Great video, thank you! I have a Cricuit 3 and I am still learning - I have been trying to cut a pattern on/in EVA foam board without cutting all the way through. Due to my disability, it is easier for me to have the foam board prepared with a cut pattern. Then I would cut/manipulate my paper strips to fit in the slits in the pattern that I have created on the EVA foam board from my cricuit. I hope this makes sense. Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time
Hi, can you tell me what is the pressure amount in the settings of the eva foam Mode you used? Another question, for glitter foam, what are the settings used? I have a cricut Explorer air 2 and a deep cut blade. Thank you
Great video. I've been trying to cut on my graphtec and it keeps sliding while cutting. I can't use the sticker adhesive because I need that to be on the foam for afterwards. Any suggestions on how to keep the foam from sliding?
It's always good to test cut first. But you can always adjust the pressure before cutting, as I mention at the end of the video. If you still need fine adjustments, click on the icon that has three horizontal lines in the top left corner, then "manage custom materials", choose "EVA foam" and click on "edit" to adjust it. :)
@@thecraftaholicstudio thank you! The craft foam I have won’t even go through my Cricut at all! It appears to be the thickness of 3 thin craft foam sheets. I tried Goggling the brand to verify the thickness but no luck!
Good day Is it possible to cut different depths with you cricut maker. I love to work with craft foam. But sometimes you just want to make a line and don't want to cut threw the foam. I just want to line for the face not cut it out. Can someone help me with it please
Yeah, it is. You can adjust the pressure before cutting, as I mention at the end of the video or, if you still need to make fine adjustments, click on the icon that has three horizontal lines in the top left corner, then "manage custom materials", choose "EVA foam" and click on "edit" to adjust it. Once you see the list, you can also scroll down (all the way to the end) and find the button "add new material" to create a custom setting. 😊
Yeah, my Maker neither. I’ve never used this function with the deep point blade, but I think it is just possible when having the fine point blade loaded.
@@thecraftaholicstudio ... My maker 3 doesn't seem to let me use a knife blade either. I mean I can use it on the pre-selected materials but I can't add a new material. I just don't nderstand why I can't cut my 2mm eva foam. I tried everything. Would you have any suggestion. Thanks.
@@alicer-w878 Hey, Alice. I'm so sorry about the late reply, I didn't see the notification of your 2nd comment popped up. Since this is a very specific function that you want to cut EVA foam with, I would contact Cricut to check if that would be possible somehow.
Thank you! I was tearing my foam up piece after piece lol
Thank you. Have had some trouble cutting foam and I'm sure this will work.
Thank you!
Thank you, this tutorial was super helpful!😊

This was very helpful! I’m just not sure if the thick foam sheets from Michael’s is thicker then 2 mm…. 🤔

Can you cut multiple smaller circles at one go?
I’ve tried the setting and adjusted the pressures and passes and can’t seem to get my air to to cut the Eva 2mm foam
Not quite what I was looking for. Can you cut foam board? Like Dollar Tree foam board sheets with a cricut?
Good day

Thank you! 🥰
Eva is not an option anymore can you tell me what pressure and how May passes it is set at on your machine
Does it work the same for EVA glitter foam thanks
I was wondering also. I think the glitter would blunt the blade. It certainly does so with scissors.
How do ct glitter foam
Curious. Can a cricuit joy do the same thing?
No it won’t , sorry.

My cricut maker 3 won't accept the deep blade under the perforate function.
