When you walk with shoulders broad and looking dead ahead, you will see people literally get out of your way. I walk through crowds of people with zero pushback.
Great tips. There's also another reason to walk with confidence, which is to improve your mood. As Tony Robbins says, how you feel is directly linked to your physiology
It may work. However, I always walk looking down, with my shoulders relaxed, fast, and dont move my arms much. I feel fine, I'm decently confident, and am typically content and not worried or anxious.
I must admit that I used to look down and shrugged my shoulders when I walked but now as a professional working in the EMS field walking into an emergency situation your patient picks up on that confidence when walk on scene. So I agree with everything you said in your video Antonio. Always have great content.
Not really. It just helps make people not think you are "weak", whatever that means. I don't believe this helps outside of job interviews or first impressions with important people. Why would you care what a stranger on a street or a coworker you never talk thinks about you? This has nothing to do with strength and everything to do with giving the illusion of confidence.
Great advice on how to walk confidently! One thing I hate to see is when a man has poor posture and is walking down the street. The man doesn't realize it but he is making it much harder for himself to get a girlfriend or wife.
"10. Tips to always walk with confidence." sounds like a nice video! Clicks it and picks something out of the kitchen and on my speaker i hear: "ARE YOUR BALLS BURNING?!"
This is a great video. I’ve tried to teach this psychology to many men. I walk into a room even if I’m not dressed up and you can see people turn heads to figure out who I am.
Antonio thanks for this, I survived a stroke at age 27 so I walk with a cane now (pretty cool huh?) and even 12 years removed I have to pay attention to my walking posture and gait almost at all times. I walk 3-5 miles everyday for exercise and as a part of my morning routine so I have tonnes of time to make micro-corrections. Over the last 12 years I think I've gotten to a point where my walking looks mostly normal albeit with a slight limp which the cane reduces a lot. Anyway, thanks for all of the content on your channel. You help guys A LOT more than you probably realize!

Outstanding! You clearly had a lot of fun filming this! I remember reading years ago that one way muggers choose their victims is by the way they walk.
Antonio, the main one I have is the looking down one, especially on uneven surfaces. The reason for this is that I am half blind, and I tend to look down sometimes to ensure there's nothing that will trip me up. It's not an always thing, but happens often enough that it could be perceived as weak (from the video). Great tips overall, as I've found myself trying to do these already.
I had the pleasure of meeting a 92 year old former WWII Sergeant Major from our Australian Army. Sergeant Major Holland used to lead his command in their memorial marches - still to the day he "walked with a purpose". His stride was inline with the 30 inch pace we were trained to march with. We all know that the Sergeant Major run the Armies - regardless of country.
Gotta make a conscious effort to lead when I'm walking. I realized now that I have a tendency to trail behind when walking in a group, and even stay slightly behind my wife 😳. Possibly I was conditioned to do this when growing up with my parents and now its an unconscious habit. I now make daily goals and write them up on the wall so see every day. My walking method is top of the list!
yes, the trick to walking and even standing with a group of people heavily depends on your confidence. I think people can be too hard on themselves and end up judging themselves more than anyone else.
