I actually think it’s not, because judging by the distance, if the plane shooting wanted to actually hit the Teacher (cobra maneuver plane), he’d likely collide with him while trying to aim the plane from such a close distance, so it was either try to shoot him and risk colliding, or dodge the plane.
I don't know about you guys but the enemy plane looks like a combination of P-51 mustang and a Fw-190D or the Ta-152. Also, 3:54 this feels so dangerous. There's a chance that the pod will bounce up strongly in that speed.

I would like to see a sequil to this moive or game where the Killdren rebel against the humans and start a war. Where its no longer a game between private corperations, but a fight for survival as the kildren can replace themselves while the humans have to better survive against the ods. Always been a FanFic idea for me.

@@schorpioen007 Interesting, I guess it could be - I'm not sure if the visual designer of these planes actually confirmed where they got the inspiration for each one, but wikipedia says the J2 was inspired by the Sea Fury. Looking at images online, the wing shape and cockpit placement on the Skyly actually seem very close to the MiG-3 so perhaps that's what it's based on. I think the engine shape is definitely the 190 D series though, it's the same inverted V-x engine, the later 190D prototypes had cannons firing through the prop hub just like the 109s did. It's got a similar paint job to the P-51 though so who knows, very cool design though!

I was thinking that in the battle with the big bombers. At that altitude the RAF looking twin engines would be mopping the floor with the Shindens and tearing apart the bombers. The J7W doesn't have the wing surface area to create enough lift at such high altitude and the engine would likely be struggling pretty hard even if it is a twin rotor turbo prop

If you get in a good possition behind a enemy, he is dead - its a matter of time. Thats why its so critical having a wingman. But most work by planes was shooting down bombers or escorting bombers. Not going around killing each other, as a figher was mostly about killing other fighters and what use are they if they cant carry any bombs?

Its called the cobra maneuver. Its specific to some plane types which this plane is not but everything else is completly viable.

Well, in this universe, you can pull cobras in prop fighters. They create enough thrust and are arrow dynamically capable enough to do it.
