If having zero winning chances (like Hugh in this game) was fun, people would not rage quit when things don't go their way, and then be replaced by bots. Being in a game where everyone can win except yourself, is actually pretty miserable and depressing. Nothing inspiring or fascinating about it.
You pulled an almost perfect "ShadesOnBroadway" here. This strategy consists of 4 main steps: 1. Declare a preference for road game over OWS. 2. Declare the determination to not buy dev cards. 3. Buy dev cards like a mad man the whole game. 4. Lose the game.
I was red this game, and i think if i remmember correctly, started the game with pulling 2 vps. Rb was the 3rd dev. So i wasnt even able to defend myself. And since green pretty much secured the road i had small chance of winning. Fun playing with you tho 😊 HF
yeah very unlucky with the dev pulls haha! i think we've played a bunch together lately and you're fun to play with. thanks for coming by and supporting the channel hope to see you in game again soon!
Thx Hugh.. Yeah weve got some history, think youre leading like 3:0, we actually played one hilarious game before you took break too. There was a bot who bullied you so much, it was funny @@hughcatan
Why do players keep calling a mono when someone is asking for a trade? Is the trade to see who has the resource and who doesn't so you can make sure to get value from the mono?
if they have a development card and they're trying to trade away a resource that there are a lot of in peoples hands that they're gunna mono anyway, then they get a free card or cards for the trade because they mono the resource they traded away back!
It's inspiring that you prioritize fun over achievement.
It’s because sometimes I get too wrapped up in winning and the game itself and I have to remind myself it’s about having fun lol

Definitely prefer road over OWS, both playing and watching. Can't believe you turned into the army player though 😂, wild game!
glad you feel the same! lol
I like your vibes dude! Keep going :)
thanks brother!
Interesting pick ... why not pick 5 8 10 as 2nd ?

Players like green are the reason I have to recreate my account every few months after being banned for calling them out on their bs.
Nah, you would do it anyway because you are terrified by the Tall poppy syndrome, and the whole "players like green" is just an excuse.
At 20:30 the wheat nb, why not trade wood for wheat and settle?
