If it’s true that the guy from Mud whom always wore earrings definitely contributed to newer music by writing the Kylie Minogue song “ can’t get you out of my head “ . If this isn’t them I’m a daft so and so .
I feel i missed out! I didn’t go to any gigs then. Probs too young. I deeply regret not getting on stage when Dave Bertram beckoned me at Stafford, but i was very shy then.
I was a kid when this was on, remember my dad recording it and I always chose this to watch when it was my turn. Always wanted to be on the stage with them xx
Unbeatable music , sadly R I P to Gerry Shephard, Harvey Ellison Glitterband, and Les Gray and Dave Mount of Mud thanks for the memories and the music guys
Je ne connaissais pas ❤️❤️❤️ mais j'ai adorée 🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰 à l'heure actuelle plus rien n'existe de tous cela ET c'est dommage 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 bravo les gars,❤️👏🥰👏❤️🥰👏❤️🥰👏❤️🥰🥰
@@ellenr.3409 yes indeed watching the film just now daft as a brash which music films were lol but its the music on screen and thats fantastic indeed 70s so varied as a teenager bay city rollers mud rubettes country folk punk novelty etc it was all there fantastic decade
I remember the pictures being taken over by us lot back then, what a teen film this was. I was 14 and loving this, I was hoping showaddy waddy was going to be in it.
I loved this art the time... Went to Staines Cinema probably to see it, if not then Muswell Hill. Remember thinking this was great fun, emotional looking at it now, watched the whole thing a few years back, just a load of old nonsense really, but simpler times. The Punk happened and I found music properly... There is one cracking track on this from Showaddywaddy called The Party.
Hi Folks out there.....I was / am a fan of this era of these sounds.....Busy clearing out tapes & found this one....Anyone know how I can update to digital or get this on CD ?.....As per Paul Adams' query.....The link is down.
I'd forgotten all about this, even though I saw it at the cinema at the time. I need to buy this but the link in the description is down. Can anybody help please ?
PLEASE will someone re do/enhance the sound quality of this and the film. And I wish the film hadn’t been “nutty” all the way through and had been a bit better thought out. Thankyou!
I saw this at the cinema when it got released. I was a teenager back then. Storyline, acting, dialogue all awful. But that "concert" at the end was awesome. Recently watched it again on Amazon Prime when it was free to view. It didn't age well (except for the "concert") and the picture quality was as awful as the rest of the film.
From when pop music was brash and great fun. I feel so lucky to have grown up when glam was around.

Oh i absolutely love this our fabulous 70's nothing touched it since.
Mud, The Rubettes and the G Band, just utopia for this old glam rocker
Those were the days, everything to look forward to. The future unknown, great days, great music.
watched this at The Capital in St Helens. Everyone was bopping in the cinema.
Unfortunately music and bands from the 70’s like this are a rare thing to find

Mud was in another film, called side by side, worth a watch.
A finale with 4 drummers, what more could I ask for 😎
The ar*e end of glam , when pop stars looked like the check out line at B&Q , or your dad's workmates.

You will never find another 70’s glam rock musical film
Yes you will. Phantom Of The Paradise by Brian De Palma made a year before in 1974
Quelle époque. On savait rigoler, communier, rocker. Ca a bien changé hélas.
J'adore ce que jeudi
Pae mieux

My own opinion bust some of best bands of the 70s and music
Why the faked screaming?
