Great movie! around the web its a lot of wingsuit movies but this movie i think is first where we can see how much time you need to spend on the preparations - thx for showing second side of wingsuit base jumping
Thanks for the comment Kyle. Another friend pointed that out too. It's just camera angle that makes it look like that. That wasn't an opening and immediate landing- we had a fairly long (by BASE standards) canopy flight on that jump. If you look carefully at the feet you can see some movement and twisting that couldn't happen if feet were on the ground.
Bea Schulte Guten Morgen liebe Bea lieben Dank für schreiben ich wünsche Dir ein wunder schönen TAG. BIS BALD. liebe grüsse aus Florenz Rinalto machs gut
Thanks for the comments Ian. Douggs did a really great job and we were proud to be working with him. He's been a friend for many years. We're not saying that what we've done here is anything new but our military training, without a doubt, complimented our other experiences. Sorry that you feel it has military recruiting propaganda- this was not our intention. The military did not fund this at all. We're trying to raise awareness for a charity that supports those that do, or have, served.
He does indeed. Our plan was for wingsuit formation flying, the north face of the Eiger doesn't have too many vertical proximity opportunities. Perhaps something like that could be our next project. Thanks for the comment.
The safest is obviously not to do it. There are many options but you need quality training first and progress form there. Your mentor will be able to guide you along the way and help you select a suitable site that works specifically for you. I hope that helps.
The real hero of this film Douggs. It's the talent of the civilian BASE and WIngsuit jumpers who've been persecuted by the law for decades which has driven this sport forward. Formation wingsuit BASE jumping has been happening for years simply by filming others in "Grinding the Crack" and the other great videos by Jeb Corlis, Jokke Sommer, Alexander Polli, Roberta Mancino and many others. Yes, congrats on great jumps but this reeks of military recruitment propaganda.
He's absolutely amazing. We were very fortunate to work with him- he's been a friend for many years.
Glad you liked our way of looking at it. It was really great to show the insights into it. Thanks for the comment and support.
He's great. We were very fortunate to work with him. He's been a good friend for a while.
Thanks Pauline. Really glad that you like it. Much appreciated.
Douggs is the real badazz here. This man is so humble and talented yet very few people give him the credit he deserves.
