Very nice and extremely detailed review, probably the most detailed review I’ve ever seen on any product ever. My only complaint is that the battery lasts for 2 hours 20 minutes while it’s not shaving anything, it’s the forces of the blades against the hairs that lower the battery more
@@AlexMyth oh yeah totally, I’m not complaining about the battery life, I love it and I love the shave. Best multigroom ever. I was just complaining on the little “misinformation”. Battery doesn’t last 2+ hours of shaving. In real usage the battery doesn’t last that long because the blades in the video aren’t shaving anything thus the battery lasts longer
@@godlikecat thanks for your comment, now I get it. You are right. It’s about the force it uses to cut the hair. And there’s no hair to cut, it works more.
I’m using it from time to time and I like it so far. Hope you get a great experience if you buy it. Now for me the only thing I dislike is the placement of the start button. I sometimes push it accidentally. But that’s a minor thing. In rest it is one of the best trimmers I’ve ever had. Thanks for watching!
Hi, thanks for watching! Did you buy it and it came without the adapter? I mean I’m not sure about your question, so I need more details to answer it correctly.
Hi, thanks for watching. I just checked all of them. They are pretty similar in my opinion. And as I see the MG7930 is not available anymore, maybe it is temporary. I would go for the highest number because I think it is the latest, that means MG7950. And price wise they are pretty similar as well.
Thanks for watching and for your comment. In my opinion Philips 7000 ranks a bit higher than Braun BT9440. Soon I will upload a detailed review where I talk about these 2 and other 6 trimmers with more details.
“I recently bought the Philips 7000, but to be honest, I’m not entirely satisfied with it. I managed to get the Braun 9440 for €70. What would be your recommendation?”
@@SchlauerLöwe-x2x Thanks for watching. Sure, let me understand what are the points you are not satisfied with Philips 7000 and I can see if Braun can solve that in my opinion.
What is difference between body guards and beard guards? I using about 4 years Philips BT3216 and last week i buy Mg9552 but i am not satisfied. BT series is much better for beard. On MG series comb with adjustment is bad.
For this MG the difference between guards are the length and colors. I think they made them different colors so people could easily distinguish which ones are for beard, hair, body. I haven’t reviewed Philips MG 9000 series or BT 3000 series, but maybe in the upcoming videos I’ll have them. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching!
does the adjustable guard size 3 and 5 cut the same hair lengith as the fixed guard size 3 and 5. becaue i fail to see what both are included in the box if they do exactly the same
Yes, they should cut the same, no difference. What they say is that the fixed guards size 3 and 5 are specifically for the body. So their intent is to use the adjustable guard for beard/head hair while the fixed guard is to be used for anything below the neck. That’s why even the color is different, so people can easily distinguish between them. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching. Thanks for your question.
LOve your content. thank you for sharing I have a question: I have a series 3000 just like the one you reviewed in your channel 3ys ago. Will the heads of the series 7000 (precision trimming, body shaving etc) fit on my series 3000?
The instructions that come with the Philips Multigroom are totally insufficient. This video explains everything! I agree that it doesn't give you the closest shave. For that I use the Philips Electric Shaver Plus PQ206. But as a beard trimmer, it's great. Thanks for the needed video.
@@AlexMyth oh okay thanks. I was always told we shouldn't use trimmer for our head and use clippers instead, which is why i was wondering 😅 thanks again
It’s a multigroom one, and it has different length for hair. In one of the videos I will be uploading soon I’ll show how I cut the sides and back head hair. So it worked for me.
Looks like the 15-in-1 has the patented trimming comb that offers 11 length settings between 1-3 mm, so you can achieve an even trim at the exact length you want. The 14-in-1 doesn't have it.
I would suggest to check with them first because they might remember you or they might have a video proof you buying from them. Try to explain them it’s not charging and hopefully they can help solve this issue .
If budget accepts a bit more investment I would recommend series 7000 over 3000 because it runs for 2 hours vs 1 hour, full charge time 1 hour vs 16 hours, and it has more pieces 14 vs 7 Thanks for your question. And thanks for watching!
Thanks for your comment. That’s a great idea for a video. I suppose you mean MG series (MultiGroom), not BT (Beard Trimmer). But could you please confirm the exact model and I will try to find it and make a review about it? Thanks 😊
Ok, I just checked both of them and as I understood the only difference is that 7720 has 1 tool more than 7715. That piece is the Precision Shaving attachment. So you may choose the 7720 if you want to use this piece, otherwise you may go with 7715. Hope this is helpful.
What about the nose hair attachment? I have the series 5000 and it was a disappointing experience. Whats your review on the nose hair trimming feature of this 7000 series?
Hey, thanks for watching, and for your comment. I just had a test of the nose trimmer, and it my opinion it works good. I think 7000 series looks very similar to 5000 series, perhaps the same mechanism for nose trimmer. So if you didn't like the 5000, it could be the same experience for you with 7000. For me it worked alright.
