Alex, your video was exactly what I was looking for! Your explanations of every feature was spot on! Braun (and other companies) should hire you as the spokesperson! Thank you so much for answering all of my questions regarding this exact product! You are a God send!
Wow, thanks for such comment, I'm flattered 🤩 Thank you for watching! Sure, if Braun or other companies would like to work on something I'm open for discussion ☺️
Very comprehensive review! I purchased one of these after watching another review on UA-cam. I am extremely impressed with every aspect of this trimmer, It does a very good job of both trimming my 20mm beard and doing my crewcut haircut. I routinely get 3 hours or more from a charge.....Perhaps your unit was, as another UA-cam Creator coined the phrase - "a Monday's model". Thankyou very much Alex for your video.
Thanks for sharing your experience, I'm glad to hear it worked out for you! I also hope this unit is the only one, or a Monday's model 😊 Thanks for watching!
Excellent video seriously! There is no video online with this much in depth review!!!! You show exactly what I wanted to see which was the different MM whilst shaving the beard! Well done! Keep up the great work buddy!
This video was exactly what I was looking for! Very detailed, nice demonstration how all the attachments work, really awesome. Thank you and I'm buying this trimmer. 😊
Very good review. Thanks! I have just bought one and really like it. Two things: the reason it cannot be used with a cord is that you can use it in the shower. It says so in the manual. Also you commented on the temperature. It isn’t realistic that you would use it for three solid hours. May also affect batteri time if you use it in increments adding up to three hours instead of running it in one go.
Thanks for appreciating my review. I have to disagree with both of your points. First about the cord/cordless use - some trimmers are designed to be used also corded, and not while in shower. My next video will cover all trimmers and this function will be mentioned. Secondly, about battery -the majority of the trimmers in my reviews have exceeded the runtime in one go. This one however didn't.
This is the single best trimmer I've ever owned, it is so well made and precise. And mine doesn't wobble on the stand like yours here, it sits snug, I wonder what that's about?
Thanks for your comment, it seems like we have different stand designs! I just tried to fit it again, and I even tried to somehow push it... maybe waiting for a tick, but there was nothing, so it still wobbles. It's not a big issue at all, it just wobbles and stay stable after that. Thanks for watching! And I am glad that you find it as the best trimmer. I agree, it is one of the best on the market. Hope it serves you for many more years!
@@AlexMyth You know, I went back and checked my trimmer on the stand and it does have a wobble. It is not as wobbly as yours though, but it isn't as snug as I initially stated. However, that's a testament to how much it doesn't really affect anything, the fact that I never noticed it until your video here. It wobbles some but it truly doesn't affect anything.
Well done review. But why no one see that in the set there is no hair comb 0.5-10 mm? There is only 10.5-20 mm. It is possible f.e. to cut my head hair on 5mm?
Which is better? This or the Phillips multi groom? Also, you said the head was getting hot, does it normally get hot like that or was it hot because it was left running for the entire battery life time?
Thanks for your comment, really appreciate it. Now they are both my favourite ones. Each of them have their own advantages. For example I like Philips multi groom for its body shaving head and I like the Pro Counter head on Braun for its precision. Maybe I will have to make a video to compare them. But for now you may watch the end of my videos where I list my conclusions about each of them. Hopefully that helps even more. Thanks for watching!
I had braum before and I used for many many years, sadly, I lost the adjustables and heads so I bought Phillps multigroom. The problem with phlipps which also other people experienced is durability. I was no longer be able to charge my devıce after 6 months of using it.
@@atakanerdogan7999 in this case if I were you I would go with another brand. In my experience I think they work fine, because it’s still charging after years.
That's a fantastic idea! I won’t be using oil since these blades come without oil, but I’ll definitely try the test you suggested - running it for 30 minutes with a 10-minute pause. It sounds really interesting! I’ve already plugged the trimmer in to fully charge, and once it's ready, I’ll go ahead with the test. Thanks so much for the idea and for watching! I’ll be sure to post the test results in the comments.
Test result: 0:00-20:30: Work 20:30-20:40: Pause 20:40-21:10: Work 21:10-21:20: Pause 21:20-21:50: Work 21:50-22:00: Pause 22:00-22:07: Finished working Total: 1 hour and 37 minutes, which is almost the same as my previous tests of around 1 hour and 40 minutes.
@@AlexMythI checked the instructions and it did recommend periodically using blade oil. Terrible instructions in my opinion. I understand they are trying to make it understandable no matter the language but in doing so it's hard to understand. Your video cleared up a few issues that I couldn't decipher from the illustrations. Thank you!
I haven’t tried the mini foil shaver because it comes in the North American version, and I have the European set. I wish I could test it. Maybe later I’ll have it.
I would like to add that Braun builds expensive one-way products now. If you loose the cable - buy a new one. They say they don´t sell charger separately and they changed connection port so can´t buy a standard one. If battery is defect- throw it away. You can´t replace battery. If battery is defect buy new one cause you can´t use with cable. (with my two year old Braun I can) "For security reasons" they lie. It´s all about short profit and extremely environment-hostile policy. They don't care about consumer satisfaction any more. It´s sad to say this as a German. So I Iwill buy a Panasonic now.
I didn’t know they do it in this manner nowadays. And by the way, wait for my upcoming reviews because it’s going to be 2 trimmers from Panasonic. I’ve tested one already, and another one will be tested soon. What a coincidence that you mentioned it. Which one are you considering buying?
@@AlexMyth I am considering to wait for your next video and will decide afterwards:) I had a Pansonic before Braun and was happy with it. Though it's long ago and the battery did not last very long.
The new Panasonic I just reviewed had amazing battery life. So in the upcoming 1-2 days I will upload the video. It is ER-GB80. And in a few weeks I will review ER-GB86.
That battery situation is a real pity. Reaching only half of the claimed operating time is a nogo. marketing lie. I would claim it and contact support that it does not fulfill what it initially promised. Manufacturers shouldn't get away that easily
Thank you for watching and for your comment. I just hope this was an exception and the other batteries are goos. Anyways if many people would have the same problem then the company will receive lots of complaints and less sales. So if that's the case they will have to work on improvements.

Wow, very comprehensive review of this trimmer. Is this your daily go-to trimmer.
Thank you for your appreciation. This trimmer is one of my favourite one, it is one of the best I am using! Thanks for watching!
What are your thoughts on the 7 series? Little less $ (fewer attachments). Seems like a better value.
If you could right the model number, I’ll look into this.
That would be great. Braun All-in-One Style Kit Series 7 7440.

Glad to hear! Thanks for watching! 🤟
Very good video Alex, thank you. One question: What aboute the grip? Does it slip?
The back side of it has a textured design for that purpose. And the front is pretty sleek, looks great in my opinion. And the grip is good.

Can you tell me if the charger supports 100v AND 230v input? I would like to buy one in japan and use it in Europe.
