  • In this video, I demonstrate smooth casting with the Daiwa Tatula CT 100 and broke down the components of the MagForce Z braking system. Arguably, this is the best user friendly bait caster braking system.

    my baitcasters are all from daiwa. i just love the aluminium frame feel sturdy and compact. and imo better in saltwater usage. bought few shimanos, but ends selling it to buy another daiwa 😂

      I haven't used a Shimano BC but heard they feel really solid. I love Daiwa because they make the braking system super easy to use nd casts far.

      Thanks for the comment! Yes I just love Daiwa products as they always bring out new innovations. I also like Shimano, these 2 are the best in the fishing industry. I will keep doing these kinda videos, only problem is I don't always have time haha.

      @TTangOutdoors I know exactly what you mean but a lot of curado guys been headed to Daiwa lately I still haven't got a Shimano want one but might go with the Daiwa zillion tbh

      I'm actually quite new to bait casters haha. I heard the zillion SV tw is really awesome, it even has a drag clicker. I did get the Salamandura SV TW 70 which has a drag clicker. I will do a review on that soon. I've never used a Shimano bait caster but probably no as user friendly as Daiwa. Once a Daiwa is zero adjusted, just turn the magnet dial. No need to open up the side plate.

      @TTangOutdoors oh OK an could've fooled me how you were talking about the reel an etc yea the zillion suppose to be the best of the best an how do you like the bfs rode that salamandura heard shimano tend to backlash a bit while Daiwa rarely does but that shimano zooms with that counter in it

      @@ogjmcnutt9756 I'm a nerd and I spend time practicing casting a lot in the field lol. I love the SV spool man, the Magforce Z with the normal is already great at casting but the SV spools adds another section of braking towards the end of the cast, making it even harder to backlash.... not for distance casting but it adds more enjoyment as it takes away the stress of spool control with your thumb... if that makes any sense.

    Daiwas used to make superb reel..but the newer model seem to have so much flaw and same with new shimano..for heavycover fishing i will go with abu garcia

    • @TTangOutdoors
      @TTangOutdoors  Рік тому +1

      Oh yeah? I'm new to bait caster so not familiar with the older models. What kind of flaw have you experienced?

    • @fieqakim
      @fieqakim Рік тому

      @@TTangOutdoors with newer daiwas the first thing that show a major flaw is inductor cup have a plastic leg inside that will broke with rapid cast or heavy lure..and the bearing count is not same with what written on the box..for new shimanos like 2018 and newer is the main gear..the material is too brittle to be used on hard and extreme style of fishing and i manage to broke in half my main gear with my scorpion dc metanium mgl and dc..all this reel have same issue..for new calcutta is smooth for like 2@3 trip and sound like donkey scream after that

    • @TTangOutdoors
      @TTangOutdoors  Рік тому +1

      @@fieqakim oh yeah that inductor does have the plastic piece attached. I guess with more people getting into fishing now, and based on the frequency they update and release new models every half a year, the quality is probably compromised for the rate of production. I haven't experienced issues yet but I don't do extreme fishing either. So Abu is built better heh? I always thought any brand other than Daiwa/Shimano lacks the technology.

      @fieqakim Рік тому +1

      @@TTangOutdoors for me abu is not better but sturdy enough to take an abuse and the part is really cheap so you dont have to worry much about your reel..i only manage to broke my revo sx but that was my fault..but this is just my personal point of view as a user..dont take it serious..just use what you like and feel confortable with..fishing is for having fun,enjoy and relax

      @@fieqakim Oh yeah, I get the joy out of using my Daiwa spinning and bait casters, that's why I've been sticking with them for a long time now. Thanks for the comment!!
