My only comment on technique: Prepare the sauce and chicken while the pasta is cooking. Cook for about 2 minutes less than the package instructions for "al dente". Reserve the pasta water. Then, rather than draining the pasta and letting it dry out and cool, add it directly into your sauce and allow it to finish cooking in the pan. The reserved pasta water can be added if things look a little dry and to make the sauce even silkier and smoother.
I just made this for my Family tonight and I had to come back to let you know how incredible it was. My Husband is not a pasta lover but told me this is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever made.

This looks awesome! The only thing I would do differently is peel the tomatoes because tomato skins are nasty. My garden is producing tons of tomatoes and peppers right now so this would be great!

I don't think so especially with dried pasta. It takes much longer to overcook than fresh so it's fine to let it stand for a short while.

This is a an absolutely delicious recipe. However, I tweaked it.
I doubled the sauce.i think it would have been too dry otherwise.
Added two chopped deseeded jalapeños
Added a package of organic washed spinach
Added a package of sliced crimini mushrooms
It was even better today heated up.

If you want to make this more authentically Cajun, add onions and celery. Cajun cooking calls that mix with peppers "the trinity".

Usually, that's used to thin out the sauce if it gets too thick. I guess he didn't need to do that?
