To everyone wondering about the table cloth: we soaked it immediately after filming and the stains came right off, immediately! But thanks for all your tips, you are all so kind, lovely and helpful! ❤❤
Good job!
I’m only few minutes in and I can feel Arne’s angst. The water in the background calms me down again though😊
Now you have me hungry for both an omelette and trimisu!
I’m pleased about this! Sometimes a good Thrift Shop find means more than something purchased in an ordinary shop. 💖
You guys are SO fun to watch! I Love tiramisu ❤
you two are the antidote to overplanned, over-edited, oh so perfect - photoshopped cookery shows. I loved the bit where you were both licking the spoons. The tiramisu looked fabulous. I'm going to try the recipe. xxx
I couldn't agree more!
Thank you so much for all your kind words!
I don't understand why you insist on Arne cook. He evidently doesn't enjoy it.
You don't listen to each other. Perhaps more prep as what you wanted him to do ahead.
Sorry not one of my favorites.
Fabulous!! The part of the egg that you were trying to remove from the egg white (long stringey thing) is called the CHALAZAE.... there is one at either end of the egg. It helps to keep the yolk centred inside the shell. Without it, the yolk would flop around inside the shell. This chalazae keeps it looking nice, particularly when you fry eggs... centred where they should be. The part Arne was getting sort of squeamish about is a germinal disc, often red, and not the beginning of a little chicken .... ;);). Why they are noticeable in some eggs, I do not know. An egg expert could help with that. Thank you for bringing us such joy when Arne cooks. And of course, Carlos, for your direction..
I was told that the chalazae that is prominent is a sign of a fresh egg. How I love using your emojis! I think I will just go with my enthusiasm and use them all at once! There! I feel so much better!
Thank you for another entertaining cooking video! And thanks for the recipe! Going to give it a try! 🥰
❤️❤️❤️❤️
You both are such a joy to watch. I giggle away watching you two work together.
We call the white thick stringy bit in the egg "the anchor."
This little cooking exercise is absolutely hysterical, you could be my sons.
I burst out laughing when Eric nodded with the camera!! It was great to see you scraping the bowl out, Carlos...to see your inner kid suddenly appear. Looks so delicious, Arne.
I did too!
It was amazing
You are unwitting comedians it’s been awhile since I’ve watched and I’m not disappointed.Much love
I found almond flavored lady fingers once and went ahead to make an almond version of a tiramisu style dessert. Follow the directions but use almond liqueur instead of coffee liqueur and almond extract instead of vanilla. I’ve done it with plain lady fingers, too.
This was HILARIOUS! Carlos trying so hard to be patient with Arne (and not quite succeeding, LOL) and Arne getting distracted by everything but the task at hand. This recipe looks so good. I'm going to try it. XOXO
So true! They are so much fun to watch! Just love it! Also, the dessert is fab😍!
❤️❤️
This was so much fun to watch. Glad to learn the tablecloth survived unharmed. 🥰. And that quote from Dolly was priceless!😂
How about a spin-off show called Chaos in the Kitchen with A & C ?
That would be something
😂 “How do you fold it? Like a piece of paper?” David Rose)
That is a favorite dessert and yours looks scrumptious! Good job! 👨🍳 The aprons are adorable, too! Nice to “see” Erik!
Licking the bowl is the best bit of cooking & you never grow out of it 😊😊
True!
This could have been in Absolute hysterical tv- serie. My goodness me you bring so much laughter and joy. Thanks x 3000 🦋😂🤭😂🦋
Oh, this was way fun! I will definitely try this recipe--it's so easy! And as always, you guys were comic gold--Arne with egg-gate and licking the beater, Carlos with his take-charge attitude and spoon-licking--it was all great from start to finish! And Freya with her Moose-moose barks is always fun. Thanks so much for sharing😄
This had me laughing all the way through. I remember having Tiramisu for the 1st time when on a cruise and how much I loved it. I don't know which was funnier....Arne cracking the eggs and trying not to mix the yolk and white together or Carlos trying hard not to take over and do it himself. It is always so much fun to watch you both and it was nice to have you do this outside!
Oh Carlos, your Virgo "control" button was really pressed today. Love you both especially when Arne is "cooking"
Oh, you two!! 💚🤍❤️ Tiramisu!! Freya reminding you that its ok with her bark! I would like to suggest, when cracking the egg, tap it on a flat surface instead of with the knife. It gives a nice break/crack without any shell pieces falling. It is also much easier to separate the yolk from the egg white. Your teamwork, even if things are not exactly perfect remains very sweet. Yum!!
So enjoy watching the two of you! Arne is quite sweet, doing his very best. And you, Carlos, you were really savoring the whipped cream. Your tiramisu looks so very yummy! Wish I was there, in person. But always look forward to your presentations on UA-cam.
Wonderful! It was great to see Arne using the hand whisk - I still have (and use) my Mum’s from 1953! I absolutely love Tiramisu! Thank you both!
I love tiramisu. I make a recipe from an Italian chef that also uses the egg whites. Like Carlos said.. everybody loves tiramisu. And by the way, I love love love Arne's apron! ❤
You two are just hilarious! This was a delightful Sunday evening treat for me. I am startled that Arne can't crack an egg without a knife though. I suppose the good old table crack would cause him endless anxiety about the tablecloth. I'm a complete heretic--I hate coffee so when I make it I dip the ladyfingers in chocolate milk with a little rum added. Absolutely not authentic tiramisu, but none of my guests have complained.
Your episodes are never disappointing, love your humor. Better than any tv cooking series, they are boring.
Like those aprons, very appropriate. Arne you crack me up, you're like a little boy always licking that spoon, bowl, and in this case the beater. You both bring me such joy.
Is there any art or craft that you two haven’t mastered yet ?
Bravo 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Made me smile...and laugh. What a great cooking show!
I love how you experiment with different flavors and ingredients. Your creativity knows no bounds
I do this as well.. it's fun. creative cooking.. I make unique tiramisu too.
That was such fun; I giggled through the whole thing. I lost a bet with myself when I bet that Arne would eat one of the ladyfingers before they went into the pan…..such restraint on your part, Arne!
It would be lovely to live somewhere where you could safely eat raw eggs; you are taking a chance when you do in the USA. But they do sell pasteurized eggs so I am going to try your recipe with those. I may have to make it several times before I serve it to company, but I will persevere!
I love the way u both cook. It is hilarious to watch u to justifying how to do each ingredient. Licking the spoons & the bowls is always the best way to sample ur bake. Bet it went down a treat. Bon appetite. 👌👌😎😎❤️❤️👋👋👋
OMG!!! Hysterical!! I laughed out loud. Finally an authentic cooking show. Please do more!
We have a lot, look for Cooking with Carlos
I love 💚 Tiramisu. Thanks for the recipe, Arne & Carlos. It looks great in the outside kitchen and, of course, a great episode! There's always happy laughs 😆. Love your aprons!!
Using the tea-thingy to apply the chocolate is a great idea!
My favorite dessert!!!
You guys are sooo funny!😂 I don’t think I have the patience to make it, though.
Well done, Carlos. You are so patient!
First time I ever heard of Tiramasu was when my friend friend just came back from Italy and was telling me of a fabulous dessert served to him by a friend. Next day I was leafing thru GH magazine and there was a recipe for tiramasu. It was Kismet. Now my very favorite dessert. ❤
Y'all made me laugh so hard. I love you both. ❤️ 😂
I'm so happy the tablecloth came clean! Once again I love you guys!
This was a whole lot of fun and laughs, thank you guys. Will try this out. Take care and stay blessed.❤
I love when you two cook together; Arne absolutely cracks me up turning his back to the camera to lick the beaters or spoons. And always “I think it needs more cream . . “. :O). Love you two 💕
Never enough cream
I love that you l guys “clean” the utensils. When cooking the leavings are enjoyed as much as the finished product. It is known as an orgastic experience in my house. I love it!Glad to read that cold water soak worked on the tablecloth!
Arne and Carlos, you both are looking so great!. I loved the last part when you were sitting at the table tasting tiramisu with the lake behind you. Many happy returns of the day! And yes, me too...I will be trying Carlos' recipe!
It was so much fun looking at you both in preparing the tiramisù. There are many version on tiramisù in Italy but I have never seen one with the vanilla seeds. Usually you need 3 eggs for 500 grams of mascarpone. I also use the the white beaten very stiff and added to the mixture. It is easier if you deep the savoiardi biscuits in a shallow dish, instead of a bowl. Never used a round container, much better a rectangular ones or make individual serving in a glass. I mix coffee with rum. Thanks for sharing.
I haven't seen an egg beater like that in more than 40 years! I think that's when whisks became popular. Fun watching you work together!
Perfect as always and so funny. How Eric stops himself from bursting out laughing all the time I do not know. Thank you for an hilarious video.
Oh my God… My favorite hosts with my favorite dessert In my favorite aprons!!! Win win❤❤❤
😋....thanks! Ya did great explaining the recipe to a novice in a foreign language (English)!
So funny, you two enjoying the mixing spoons and spatula. Buona notte!
Hahahahah Arne's face when Carlos ate the cheese cream.....Never seen him do that before lol xx
Came here to say the same thing. I wasn't sure if Arne was surprised, amused or offended... but his face was a picture!
You two are delightful to watch when you prepare food! Your banter always makes me LOL
Hi to my two fav people! Such a funny and lovely episode. Loved the background and atmosphere too! Sending love from Colorado, Valerie
Wonderful!!! I love tiramisu but have never made it. So much fun here👏🏼👏🏼
We hope you get inspired to make it!
Yay, no steeking! I can do it! You don't need to turn around! There is no shame in enjoying a taste! It looks amazing and I do so want a piece!
Best video ever!
You both are so perpetually naturally happy and you made me smile at the end of your video with Arne’s hilarious comment. 😂😊😊😊
😍

What fun!! Well done, gentlemen! It looks delicious!
You are both hilarious and even Freja was in on the act. I laughed so much. Great recipe and great show.
Thank you so much Lynn!
I love your cooking demos!
Oh, this is making me hungry! Love how you both have sneaky licks of the spoons. I’m definitely going to try this recipe on an evening when I don’t have to drive! I love Arne's apron too. Has my colour beetle on it 😊. I hope your table cloth washes up nicely too. 💖
I love your aprons! They are wonderful. Arne, you truly are SOOO GOOD!
Thank youuuu
Love your cooking segments! I believe in you Arne! Woopsy daisies. I just can’t stop laughing. No,no,no,no,no. ❤❤ you should double the recipe so you have plenty to lick the spoons,my favorite part. Tusen Takk for this video.
Arne, you are a professional, Carlos didn't have to worry about you cutting your tongue, I recognize a fellow beater cleaner perfecting our craft since childhood😊
Who needs Netflix when there's Carlos and Arne cooking shows.
😅❤️❤️
Why do i end up in hysterics with you two - love you both!!!! LOL♥️
You guys are so much fun!
Takk for a funny and fab video! I was watching whilst I made tahini & chocolate dates for a gift (a sweet treat that I usually have no trouble making), when I was stirring the tahini, I splashed oil on myself, my toaster and the iPad. . . . . .cooking chaos is catching lol! Be well, Sally 🌹
Outstanding episode! It did make me hungry, especially with all of the mmmmmmmmm!!! Yum! Looked great! Glad to hear tablecloth is still good. You both look wonderful in great shirts and sweater!
Sooo good!
My grandmother, from Farigliano Italy, used to also line the sides of the cake pan with lady fingers. When the cake comes out of the form it looks lovely. But first we had to bake the lady fingers. The next day we made the cake. No store bought cookies for my Noni ❤
Nice, we might try that next time
Hi, just set it in the fridge! It looks really nice. Thank you.
Cooking with Arne is like cooking with a toddler. He’s fabulous.
🫶🏻😂 well said!
Oh my gosh, you cause me to laugh out loud! I love you guys! And I'm stealing your recipe! 💕💕💕
As always, laughing out loud when Arne breaks the first egg and Carlos leaks out an “Oh God!” 😂😂😂
Your cooking segments always make me laugh!! I ❤ you guys! 🙂
Looks delicious!
I love Kahlua in my tiramisu!
Hysterical!
So fun to watch
Oh my goodness, "we do need the money" LOL. You made my day! Thank you for sharing your JOY with the rest of us. Love you...and
Thank you so much for watching today!
What a beautiful place to work on the recipe! I love both of your aprons, but especially yours, Carlos...my family had a blue Volkwagen van when I was growing up. You both made me laugh, and in a happy way. And the tiramisu looks delicious!
You can do it, Arne! I believe in you!😊
That looks so good.
Love watching your cooking episodes because you never know what’s going to happen!! Just a little hint - as gorgeous as those aprons are, they are the best thing to use to wipe your hands on 🤣🤣
My husband and I just came back from visiting relatives in Kansas City where we celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary at an Italian restaurant where we had the best tiramisu. Yours looks just as good. I will have to try this. Thanks guys.
Happy anniversary🫶🏻
I love watching you two cook together. So much fun...now I'm going to have to buy the ingredients to make my own tirimisu
So funny !! I really want to make this! Cooking outside would be fab too!
Nice! Thanks.
Love the aprons!
Thank you !
I needed a good laugh today. Thank you!
I'm italian and in the tiramisu you don't put vanilla, and in the classic version you also don't put alcohol, but if you like it than 1 or 2 spoons are more than enough 😉
🫶🏻👍🏻
😋😆🤣😆 I think your cooking episodes are sooo good! Real cooking with real people, lots of drama and laughs and delicious food at the end :) ❤❤❤
Love love love the cooking segments.....so funny when you were licking the bowl; Arne you are hilarious.
