Thanks Lori, but I’m not famous. I do get recognized once in awhile at the grocery store or at a restaurant and at the lake. I’m glad you like the videos. I hope they entertain people and maybe help them catch more fish.
@@FCPFishing I don’t here many people around here throwing them anymore either. I was walking and throwing one last year and talked to a guy that said he quit throwing a jig because he couldn’t ever catch fish with it…😳😳..I didn’t even know what to say to him. I didn’t think you could mess up throwing one!
@@FCPFishing Good morning Dana, YES, the jig is the ticket, looking forward to seeing this vid, I’m thinking about trying a green pumpkin and blue flake jig, you think that’ll be a good color to try?
@@chaunceydavis5290 Yes, but it all depends on the body of water. I think every lake has a bit different color of craw. I visited my son at Lake Guntersville awhile back and theirs are really dark red. I know that blue is an important color at Lanier.
@@chaunceydavis5290 There is both light and dark on them when we get to the cooler months. I also think blue is on every thing that they eat - Bluegills, Blue Back Herring, etc
Enjoy you showing what your using and how you rig. Last week I was killing it top water, this week nothing. Going out in the morning will be using swim bait and a weighted fluke. Always enjoy watching you.
Went out the other day around Little Hall. Nothing for 3 hours but 3 followers on the jig. Finally caught one on a ned rig. Nice weather, but they weren't turned on.
Hey man, question. So gonna try to fish Lanier in the next week or two. Coming from Hartwell. Help me understand something. So Northside is up towards Laurel Park area and of course South side would Margaritaville area? Thanks
Yes, but the north end covers a lot of water. You have the Chattahoochee River coming in on the Gainesville side and the Chestatee River on the Dawsonville side, I consider both areas to be "north".
You're famous Dana ! I love this for you ❤ You're videos are awesome!

Those swimbaits look great and the Jig always produces everywhere..lol..Great fishing Dana!!
Yes they do! I hear from so many guys that don't throw a jig and I am always surprised.

@@mullisoutdoors I think it's kind of a lost art. Most guys want to throw the fancy new contraptions these days.
That is unusual no top water, especially with a higher water level, but the swimbait and jig came through like real troopers.
Lake Lanier is always a good topwater lake, but it has really slowed down lately. I'm guessing it's the fall transition thing.
Enjoyed the vid Dana, the jig, The Jig, THE JIG, is ALL I can say, great catches Dana 🎣
Thanks! I went today to test a new bait from Swampro and every fish I caught spit up bits of craw. That is why the jig is working so well.

@@FCPFishing Thanks Dana, enough said, what kind of blue would you say Lanier crawdads are, are they a lighter or darker blue

We watched again!
Good!
Nice chunks indeed, well done
Thanks for the visit
Nice bass we went out yesterday and caught some big ones on the jig spots and large mouth always enjoye you're videos
The jig always produces bigger fish. I’m glad someone is using a jig, everyone I talk to at the lake say they are using something else.

I keep hitting days where they won’t touch a topwater. Just my luck. Still catching fish, but I’m having to work for them.
You guys did good!GOT some nice ones!
Thanks 👍
The jig was working for you! Caught some good ones
I think so too!
Hey Dana, I tried to give a thumbs up but for some reason it wasn't working. Great video. I can't believe the water wasn't muddy looking.
I wonder why the thumbs up wouldn't work. After all of that water coming in, it never really got muddy.
@@FCPFishing I finally got o give a thumbs up.
@@bluewater9795 Thanks! It helps my channel grow.

The fall transition is the toughest time of the year. I have had to work for them lately.

@@macking4942 I caught a good one over there yesterday.
@@FCPFishing nice. Apricate the videos and help man.
Please take me fishing
I wish I could, but I have way too many people asking and my work schedule won't allow it. Thanks for watching!
