Love your videos brother. I've had some luck the last few weeks with a Carolina rig, caught a few spots the other day. No boat or kayak so I'm stuck dock fishing. Next big purchase 😂
Well that is a bit of a surprise knuckleball pitch there. A totally different bait. Looks unique. Thats key for that lake, for sure. It brought them in for sure. Hat trick.
Nice work. Seems like their stock has been re-filled. The size of your jighead hook? So many are short and small for use with a fluke. What color do you think will work best in "your" lake?
Thanks for sharing your experience with the new lure. I may need to order some for my arsenal. Lanier has been tough lately. I went out yesterday afternoon and only caught 2 spots but one was a 3 pounder so I’ll take it!
As always a great video Dana ! I'm curious about your band experience , what instrument , how long have you been playing and do you currently play any gigs anywhere ?
@@Natureboy1607 I am a guitar player, graduated from the Guitar Institute of Technology back in the 80's. I play all the instruments on my recordings. I've been playing a long time. I don't play out these days. I'd like to get something going again some day, but my work situation makes it impossible right now.

Good luck! Thanks for watching!

It certainly is pretty unique. The knuckleball analogy is on point.
Always nice when a new lure works the first time out. Our water temps have dropped into the mid 50s. Good catches Dana.
Thanks 👍 The fishing will be good here when we get into the 50's. I'm looking forward to some cold weather fishing.
Cool new lure! And I liked your diaper wiper comment. The lake sure looked pretty that day and you caught quite a few!
Thanks 👍
I think it helps to throw something the fish haven't seen yet. This new lure seems to be doing well.
It's an interesting design and I caught fish with it in not so great conditions. I'm going to experiment with it more.

I use 4/0 Mustad Ultra Point hooks in my jig heads. I keep it pretty basic on the colors, white and chartreuse.

Today was tough too. I caught some big ones, though.
Great video! I will try them when they become available. What size and type of jig head were you using?
I pour my own jig heads. I used a 1/4 oz that day. They are round heads with a 4/0 Mustad Ultra Point hooks.
Nice new lure Dana, I will have to try it, enjoyed the vid 🎣
Thanks Chauncey!
@@FCPFishing Good morning Dana, it’s getting cooler and like you said, the jig and fluke will be a major player 🎣
@@chaunceydavis5290 It will be for me, at least!
A new lure that works!Yeah!
It's another weapon in my arsenal.
Stripers are always fun !
Yes they are!

Thanks for the response . Tight lines !
A you share what you are dipping the tails in to color them. I see you do that a lot. There are so many options out there.
Thanks
Sure! I have mentioned it so many times, that I guess I stopped. I use the "Spike It" markers. I don't care for the dips, they are too messy.
I have been wondering if you ever catch schooling fish on top.
I do, although I haven't seen much schooling this year just yet.
