  • In this video I provide a description of how to wire the push button switch with LED ring light in a 12V system you might use for LED puck lights or a water pump in a camper van.. In one method the LED ring is on only when the button is depressed and the (light, pump, or otherwise) is on. In the other method the LED ring is on all the time.

The diagram you showed was extremely helpful, seeing the the positive and negative lines running from battery to load was very clear, unfortunately your usage of levernuts made this look like a tangled confusing mess at first but the diagram saved it😅

Glad it helped! Using lever nuts can certainly feel different at first, but they are AWESOME!

Hello sir, I found this helpful...thank you. What I was wondering is if these are able to be utilised in a TWO WAY Switch circuit...? I believe that these come as a SPDT type...

You're welcome. I do not think this particular switch can be used on a two way circuit. Here is a link to the product: a.co/d/fHEgWrW

Sorry to say this wasn't very helpful. My switch has different colored wires. Might have been helpful to show the relationship between the pins and the wire colors.

All of these buttons, especially if you buy them from Amazon, could have who knows what color wires. The idea here is to get a sense of how to do it, use your instruction sheet, and have confidence that you too can do it!
