FF6 has my favorite battle theme with FF 1-5 close behind. The FF7 battle theme is great too, but feel the music in FF1-6 gets overlooked too often. (just saying all the games have great tracks in their own right.)
FF2's final boss, FF5's final boss, FF7's battle theme, FF9's battle theme, and FF11's Shadowlord battle theme sounds like the best executed ones. Others did not sound that right. BTW guys I think you can purchase this arrangement (studio quality obviously) on the Final Fantasy Orchestral Album. IIRC this is the last track of the album.

I feel like the transition between 11-13 were done nicely, you can easy tell they are different compositions, but they meld decently with one another without melding so well that you get 6, while the transition between 5 to 6 and to 7 was almost seamless, 6 felt kind of muted. I can understand why they used the slower part of 8 as a transitional, however (it's exhausting to have to play a high pace piece the whole duration without a small breather for everyone to get back on track.)

I've loved this medley all times I've heard it, but it *really* irks me that the timing of the video clips aren't all off with the music queues. I understand it's more than likely just a straight video but yeah -- that really ruins the whole visual and auditory experience.
5:23 Badly coordinated or part of the score? 6:30 Awesome. 7:18 Piano is really slamming down...otherwise nice section. 8:10 I love how well this piece went, and how the crowd cheered. LOVE FFIX. 9:51 Chills, just like the original...this one went really well. I'm glad bc I love FFXI. 11:15 I'D TAP THAT BRASS 12:23 I heard the original so I knew it was coming, but still not a fan of the trumpet taking the climax. 13:42 etc, when the original was made in 2012 it made sense that FFXIV didn't have a proper song because of the failure of the beta. In 2015 there really isn't an excuse. Overall not an amazing performance but I do love the changes from the original.

+Harpistry I did really like the rep list at this concert. some differences in this one were in the one in San Diego they performed "Maria and Draco", "Battle With The Four Fiends", FFI-III medley, and the Final Fantasy V Main Theme. new songs in the one in LA though ^_^ like "Answers", and the new FFI-XIV Battle Medley. Oh and to answer at 5:23 I believe that is just part of the score. the original song "The Decisive Battle" which is played at 5:23 starts off real fast so with instruments it may have sounded weird lol. Sheldon Robello honestly because that theme is mostly electric, it would be difficult for an acoustic orchestra to pull it off. Frankly, I love the X-2 battle theme for its modern sound. It was meant to be more edgy.
Otherworld also has like 4 or 5 different versions within the game. They simply skipped the non-main line games. Tactics, X-2, XIII-2, and XIII-3 all missed out. Even Mystic Quest missed here, and I've heard some of that music played at DW, even though it's technically not a FF game (despite it being named such in the western world)
