George, while recognized as an icon, I feel is still underrated. IMO, in his prime, he had one of the most perfect male voices ever. He could sing that good live as well. This is one of my favorite all-time songs.

This song is very soulful. Beautiful song for such a slow pace. This was my second favorite from the Faith album. My first favorite was 'Kissing a Fool'. Less sad and more upbeat but just as soulful and smooth as this song.

This is no joke. George was & still is a doorway from your heart right into your soul. As you come to know his music, his beautiful voice through the seasons of his life, the man behind the music is almost unbelievable! But George is VERY REAL! After George's passing when asked, Stevie Wonder said that George was God's gift to the world, never truer words spoken. George & Stevie had a special bond. You see George covered many of Stevie's works, almost like kinderd spirits If you will. I would dare to say, They had very high respect for each other. Actually, I never heard a bad word ever spoken about George from anyone that worked with or met him! George is a very, very special man, very human & is not afraid to be vulnerable & extremely honest in what he conveys through his music & interviews however, It is well known that George was the most private celebrity about his personal life than any artist. Yet again, he was almost an open book through a window into his soul. So to know George is to listen to his music! OK, You're going to learn through your own experiences & your listeners just how loved George is loved. A suggestion for you would be BROTHER CAN YOU SPARE A DIME, Poverotti & Friends Charity Concert. This is phenomenal, however, George's live PERFORMANCE is ALWAYS FANTASTIC, PERFECTION! I really feel George Michael was the Elvis but in the 80's he had the looks the amazing voice and the kind heart that loved his fans and loved helping and giving to others judt like elvis did when he was alive.. im not saying he copied elvis but he had thar amazing voice that no one in the 80's had he had his own style and look and he loved giving to others and helping others he had a very kind loving heart.. I was always a fan from day 1 and he definitely is missed😊

@@cathysmith2941 This is a great song. I'm hoping he'll react to Edge of Heaven by Wham. That's my all time favorite Wham song. It's a shame that Andrew Ridgeley's solo album flopped. It was different from his Wham days, that's for sure.

A caution of listening too often though, especially THIS song. The more you hear it, the deeper it goes.

I'm sitting here listening to his amazing vocals and just laughing at the ignorance i once had! I never wanted to give his solo material a chance. I had a hard time separating him from Wham, the group/duo from the 80's. I was not a fan of Wham, not even a little bit! Fast forward I'm in college and a friend calls and she's got an extra ticket. It was Friday night. I'm a broke college student, so yeah, I'm gonna go! When he started singing i thought he was lip syncing! His vocal performance was perfect and he had lost that ridiculous fashion style he had in Wham and he looked good! There's very few artists that sound as good live as they do in the studio! I became a George Michael fan that night!
I was always a George Michael fan from when he was in wham and then when he left wham and became a solo artist his career really took off and im so glad he left wham because he was such an amazing artist he had such an amazing voice you can feel every emotion in what he's singing I definitely had a teenage crush on him back in the 80's

He wrote this song as a tribute to/for his first love… the best love of his life that passed away after only two years. Between the ages of 27 and 30. And George said that about him six months before he passed away.
