Loving, generous, gentle, tender, highly intelligent, compassionate, humble to say the least. Just an incredible personality. And because he's ahead of time in so many ways, he chose to live his life as a free man in every aspect!

Also to note Andrew his bandmate in WHAM didnt actually do much exept help a bit with lyrics but we know how George is with lyrics so he would do fine without him. Basicly what Andrew did was help him gain the ego to actually go out and express his talent. Yet doing so very little with the actual talent he shared everything 50/50 with him before going solo(because of the royalties he will never need any money). That is a hell of a mate. Always thanked his parents and fans.

Nobody today can touch George Michael's talent. Total professional on stage, he never used autotune, he just sang with his heart. What you see is what you get. He got better with time.
George Michael was a legendary singer/ songwriter and he was my favorite at a time until he died 3 years ago. He had a lovely face and a natural singer. He will be in my heart at all time .

He was at his prime during this period of his life. Doesn’t get any better than this. His voice was beautiful and effortless. You are the first to mention his breath control which always amazed me. His backup singers were with him for years as well as his musicians.

Breath control you are spot on with, and the nuances of his mic control too combined let him keep his breath sounds from coming through into the mix outside a few milliseconds before a few of the vocal lines but that's probably intentional cuz it adds to the epicness and building anxiety for his delivery and inflection. To say this dude was good is an insult of an understatement
For me it will always be GM......the ultimate performer, songwriter, artist.

We lost so many great singers over the past few years and the sudden loss of George Michael hit me the hardest and still does. Like you, I grew up singing to his music and using his songs to help me hone my voice. I always thought that I’d see him in concert some day but that never came. I still miss him and love his music just as much as I ever did. I still sing along with his songs and am hopefully passing the love of his great music on to my sons. RIP George!

George was an incredible Talent....i liked him back in Wham,but didn t notice his real talent up until their last song "where did your heart go ?" (whch i would like you to listen to and give us a comment about) ...by the time of Faith and listen without prejudice, everyone could realize,he was alot more than just pop hits, but to me it was Older that really got me into him ,his voice ,his Talent....from then he was The Voice to me...i learned alot trying to sing his songs, the control, the mix between soft /belt voice, the full consciousness about his abilities and you never ever heard him straining to reach a note..he d do only what he knew,that he could do well and mastered his voice always.... he will always be one of the best voices ever existed to me and his catalogue of music and songs is a very classy one
I will love him till the end of time. He to me was the brightest most talented singer I've ever heard. Not just because he had a wonderful clear voice with enormous range but what he could do with that through emotion and vulnerability and giving his all on the stage when he sang was totally incredible.

This is one my all time favorite songs live or studio. George had an angelic voice.
God, I still miss him, I get an ache inside when I hear him. I loved him from day one of Wham! and he stayed with me, through all my musical journey, even in the midst of my mental phase, George was still my number one. I was lucky enough to see him live twice. He wasn't just a true talent and a beautiful voice, he was such a good man. A generous, sweet soul. I'm so thankful his music lives on.

I enjoyed your commentary. To me George Michael is the best vocalist ever, even surpassing Frank Sinatra. This man could sing any genre of song he wanted and make it look effortless. This was always my favorite song of his and when I heard this rendition, I thought it was easily on par with the original... not many artists are even close to being capable of doing that with their own songs. I would love to hear your commentary on songs he covered that he did of other artists like Elton John's Tonight or the Eagles Desperado... the list is endless of his outstanding covers.
I hate to say it but yes, he was a better vocalist than Frank. Only because his voice had more range.

I've listened to whatever is out there and I think the one with the picture of George with the Eagles or him in Birmingham has the best clarity. Now if we would only see the cover to cover tour out someday we could really hear it to perfection!

I am so angry he passed away. Sinds the first time I heard him sing I was amazed by his voice. I felt in love with the whole package. Yes, he is so perfect. His breathing captivated me every time i listen to his songs. So glad I grew up with his songs. The 80s were the favorite years of my life. We wil mis him. May he continue to Rest In Peace. George is one of my older sisters favourite artists and from hearing his music all through my childhood he also became mine.

George has been my favourite artist since his first songs with wham mostly based on his good looks because at 13 I didn't appreciate his vocal 😍. His voice was amazing and flawless. I'm so lucky I got to see him in concert 5 times. We lost a truly amazing human being.

I’m grateful that you decided to do George at this concert. He’s my favorite singer. His voice was phenomenal. I don’t know why he doesn’t get more attention.
His performance at this concert was thrilling.
He got a lot when he died. Unfortunately as new people come along those that have passed tend to fade a little until it’s the anniversary of their passing when things get played more, especially with George passing on Christmas Day and being known for his Christmas songs.
The establishment didn’t allow it when he was alive due to going up against Sony.
Even though he lost , he walked right down the stairs outside the court house, and continued to speak his mind but also now , is including the judge.
See Sony thought as with others, George having to pay $6 Million in court fees. ( I think it was 6 ) was going to teach him a lesson, and shut him up! But what they didn’t realize is that when George had stated many times before this incident was even a thought, his and Andrews journey a d now his solo journey was not about money!
When this went down, George was not your typical naive young pop star who was taken in by the industry and was becoming a solo pop star. He was already in Wham and I believe made, gosh can’t hunk of the exact figure but it was double digit millions! And was still profiting along with Andrew and the band from Wham residuals as they do this very day!!!
But my pint was George didn’t blow his money. He wasn’t in the sane position that most new artist after signing are purposely put in, which is debt.
They sign these young artist, advance them A LOT of money ( speaking of back then, but research shows that process continues) then they are forever paying it back. With interest allegedly)
That wasn’t George!!! He doubled down and said fine %#%# you! I am not doing videos . All the guy wanted was a break. A vacation . That’s how this entire deal started. But when they realized that him losing had no affect, that is when they set him up in the whole bathroom incident in Ca.
Go ahead and research from that time on. You will not find one article, if one, good or bad, where they do not use that incident as a platform.
They are still doing it to this very day with all the disgusting documentaries that are 75% to 90% lies. Most of them.
They harassed that man from the time he took Sony to court till his death! And still!

I have always loved George Michael,, my and our dearest Yog... His voice is so clean, crystal clear, velvety and embracing. The high notes are so effortlessly and smoothly reached that they still sound somehow sweet and soft. He never belts for the sake of belting. In addition to his qualities as a singer, musician and songwriter, he was also an extraordinary human being, sensitive, generous and humble, such a well-spoken and well mannered person...
