- Today we start our Trek from Ollantaytambo, Peru into the mountains for 3 days. This is day one. We stay in a glass dome on the mountainside, see an Inca tomb, have Pacha Manca for lunch, and much more. We take an unknown Inca trail, go to an abandoned pre-Inca school ruin, and see an Inca home being repurposed in the Mountains near Ollantaytambo. We will spend the next few days trekking in The Sacred Valley of Peru. Let's eat some Peruvian food, including Pacha Manca (food cooked in a hole underground). Come on this trek with us as we sleep in one of the coolest accommodations in Peru. Ever wondered what the domes in the mountains above Ollantaytambo are? This was one of your best videos, in my opinion. It shows the magic of the land of the incas along with a great dome where you can observe the night sky. Makes you wonder what they were able to enjoy in their time, and how rugged they were to withstand the winds and coldness in those incredible starry nights. Thanks for showing us all of this.

I like the way the locals cook in the field. Layers: beans on top, stones. Then the potatoes, and lastly the meat. And everything is cooked perfectly.

I think if the video titles were more specific about where you are and the main attraction nearby, it may help for those who are doing a search. I know this is something you must discuss between yourselves already and give no small amount of attention to. It's just that your videos are becoming so good and informative, I wish more people were enjoying them during this strange time we're living in. This is the best video ever!. I love the Domes. I can't believe you guys don't have more views. I agree with MarkMark . The quality of your videos in edition, content and entertaining is superb. I am Peruvian and been twice in Cuzco and you are showing me more than I did. My problem is the altitude, besides I am a little old and that also didn't help . I am so grateful your videos came in to my youtube account. You deserve an award or something and of course your very own program in travel channel. Hopefully those travel channel realize that we the public have changed a lot because of this pandemia and look for new formats otherwise they will loose business, many of us don't watch tv anymore. 19:52 minutes, a guy just told you “ cuidado con el viento” take care with the wind. Be careful because the wind at that altitude could be quite strong.

I just started watching this episode and i am already so exited about this journey...I've seen pictures about this Dome hotel...but it look like a fantasy hotel...well i know is really expensive... Guys you can easily can do a documentary about the lockdown tourism in Peru... Amazing view of the starry night in Cusco !! A quick tip for Alex on the coca tea, you may not get the full effect if you add milk or coffee to it. Looking forward to watching the full trek.

Most travelers to Peru see places like Machu Picchu but very few get to have the experiences that you are having. Away from the usual sites and off the main path are so many incredible things to see. We can only imagine what a wonderful star filled night that was inside the dome. The views of the sacred valley were amazing! Thanks for taking us along!!!
Guys, Wow! I'm lost for words for the night spent at the dome. Totally inspiring! I wouldnt be able to take me eyes off the sky - great place for insomnia though :)) Day views are beyond amazing. Can't help to think of Mr Potato missing this unforgetable experience. Must now go back to travel in Peru when betters days come our way. Happy trekking! You outdid yourselves again! I'm green with envy stuck in the urban megalopolis of Los Angeles, California. While you tackle thorny bushes and watch your hats fly away in the wind, I'm social distancing and shop for groceries in air conditioned supermarkets. While you gaze at the universe in the Southern Hemisphere's winter night, I languish in the 90 degree summer heat now polluted with fallout from the California wildfires. Oh what I wouldn't give to trade places with you!!!!!

I'm Peruvian and I didn't know there were so many places with stunning views like this one in our country. You definitely deserve more subs and views. I think next time instead of going abroad to explore other countries, I'll try to discover more of these hidden treasures we have at home instead.
