As a way to get under Jaime's skin in 15 seconds, that line was a master stroke. Euron had Jaime wide open, wondering what Euron meant by "advice" before giving him a verbal one-two uppercut by saying that in front of a crowd.
4 year comment, the positive side was being able to create a enthusiastic divided fan base for the different factions of the show. There is a lot of grey areas.
Lena Headey’s acting is just on another level. During the whole conversation Cersei had tears in her eyes because she was thinking of her daughter Myrcella. You can see them shine and yet she also mantained the composure and the facade. Phenomenal acting
Gotta love how, in one scene, Ellaria and Tyene's hands are clearly bound behind their backs, and then the very next scene has them wearing collars all of a sudden.
2:17 she looking like you already know what time it is. Euron definitely hit the spot with that gift 😂 Cersei could barely keep her composure she was so excited
Writers: Euron Greyjoy, is the most despicable character in Game Of Thrones. Reality : Kills Baleon Greyjoy, who's one of the most detested characters on the show, kills the Sand Sisters, the most detested characters in Game Of Thrones .
"...they would cheer to see your head mounted on a spike." "Or yours. They just like severed heads, really." In a season so devoid of good humor (including the exchange right after), that line made me lol.
She is one hell of a lot better than Cersei. The mere fact that they are cheering for Cersei, the woman who never gave a shit about them and blew one heck of a lot of them up shows just how stupid those people are.
92Beyo you mean like how Danereys fed innocent people to dragons, invaded many cities killing thousands, and led a huge army of people known for raping people to conquest?
The difference is: Daenerys KNEW she screwed up and changed. After her dragons ate a child, she jailed them. She knew about the cruelty of the Dothraki, so she made sure they refrained from their raping and torching policy by killing the Khal's. Cerse? Only got worse the more the story progressed. Daenarys is capable of kindness towards the people, hell, its her number one priority to abolish slavery of any kind. She just went too far several times. Cersei couldn't give a shit about ANYBODY who's last name isn't Lannister.
92Beyo intentions don't matter. Results do. The people are safer with Cersei ruling than hordes of Dothraki. Them changing their entire culture is not realistic and not a point in the book. The show is just incredibly dumbed down.
noname (as a lesbian) I totally get that. I don't even find the actress who plays her attractive outside the show, but in GoT, HOLY SHIT she's so hot. Really strange honestly.
These are the people that Daenerys burned. They aren't innocent slaves, they show their support for Cersei and cheer for Dany's enemies, so it was personal indeed.
Hmm... no, they were chearing for the capture of the people that murdered an inocent princess. Horrible right? Plus smallfolk are not exactly the most politically savy people. Plus they don't watch the show they don't have the perspective we have as an audience. And even if they somehow liked Cersei that doesn't justify burning unarmed civilians and children. Stop trying to justify the bad writing.
@@masterplokoon8803 I'm not justifying anything, I'm trying to understand why Daenerys burned the city. As I said, the people of KL are not comparable to the slaves she freed. They wanted to rip the princess apart once (if they had a chance)..

"King's Landing was known for its corruption". Yeah I don't think the guy selling cabbage or the smith forging weapons is resposinble for the corruption, that would be the nobility and some wealthier merchants. And even if what you said was true it still wouldn't be a reason to do what she did.
It's just the fault of D&D's writing, in season 6/7 they write misantrope messages and then they do the opposite in season 8. You shouldn't bother justifying Daenerys anyway, there's no need for that, a character shouldn't be blamed for what it does under the influence of bad writing.
Yeah, I recall Margaery telling the High Sparrow that despite championing the small folk of King's Landing, she had no love for them. But not all victims are necessarily sympathetic.
the sand snakes murdered their king and an innocent little girl the greyjoys spent hundreds of years raiding and pillaging defenseless villages so of course they’re going to be excited to see them getting what they deserve
@@aakashsuryi9098 Well the way writer used sacking of Kingslanding to dehumanise Daenerys and the way ppls used it to criticise and hate the ending, I consider both of them to be wrong. In past cities used to be sacked like that, there was a war going on and too much of destruction had already happened to the realm, I don't understand why sacking of Kingslanding was made so special in a way to dehumanise Daenerys by writers, there was no need to make her go psychopathic, she could have sacked the city the way she had generally dealt with her enemies in before which was quite lethal in it's own way, and the way it generally used to happen in past. I also think that in the writing there were way more important things that writers just left, these minor things makes a story great, but I only find fans complaining about dehumanisation of Daenerys not these things, or I can say the entire escalation could have been written in way better way with or without sacking of Kingslanding.
This show thought to make a villain eviler than the one before is to have it kill a good character or many of them. Joffrey was the best and they never had a bad guy as hated as him. Show destroyed the snakes and made them boring and unlikable after the Red Viper. I know the writers liked Ellaria so much they brought her back yet it sucked.

It isn't as nuanced sure, but come on man. Euron was verbally smacking the sht out of Jaime.
"The writing?" The _characters ranged_ from Little Finger to Euron, rather...

Cersei’s reaction when Ellaria spit at her. We all knew Cersei had a torturous punishment in store for her 😂
