Nah i think it would just get a lil gray…white isn’t a color. I’ve seen multiple videos of people trying it with icing or white chocolate and it didnt work
Hi MK, I tried this white cake recipe in a no sugar (I used stevia), low carb version. Wish I could send you a picture but it came out very good. I did a cream cheese butter frosting with bittersweet chocolate on top. This is a perfect recipe thank you so much.
Ahhh yess both are great! This is more a traditional vanilla cake, whereas the carrot cake has a more complex flavour to it. Whatever you choose I'm sure you'll do great and hope you have a great picnic! :)

The algorithm is pretty damn weird!!! Honestly, I watched a video yesterday about white velvet cake and here you are with your recipe lol!!! Anyways, have you ever tried using evaporated milk to get your buttermilk substitute? An experienced cake decorator advised me to use evaporated milk instead.
Looks delicious. It’s hard to find a really good white cake recipe. Just a tip it’s easier to separate your eggs if they’re cold, then at room temperature. Less of a chance of the yolk breaking into the whites.
But then it takes a while for the eggs to get to room temperature. Lol. If you're impatient like me, I like to put my eggs in hot water for 5 min then remove the yolks by hand and then just wash them after.
Great video :) Please could you do a UA-cam video/ short of showing how to do the 'folding in dry ingredients' technique part, without any edits/ cuts? Struggling with that technique
Looks yum 😋 Please try a finger millet flour cake with jaggery powder, eggless and without vegetable oil (coz it mostly contains palm oil)... Perhaps unsalted butter will work... I know you do bakery cakes, but would love to see your findings on how to go about the above cake... I've seen other recipes, but I am so looking forward to your take on it...

Hi Anitha! :) I store it in the fridge and then when I'm ready to use it take it out beforehand and let it come to room temp. I always re-whip buttercream when it comes to room temp to get it nice and smooth again :)

You could add a tiny drop of purple food coloring to the batter to counteract the yellow color and make it even whiter looking.
Would mixing red and blue food colouring work?
