The Canon HJ21x7.5B-III KLL SC 7.5-157.5mm T2.1 B4 Broadcast Cinema Zoom Lens is a high magnification lens designed for use with 2/3", 3CCD sensor Cinema cameras such as the Sony CineAlta HDW-F900R.
Now it can be adapted to cameras that can capture a S16 image size such with a 1.1x optical correcting adapter used in this test. The adapter corrects for use with single chip cameras and allows for image quality the same as when the lens is used on a native B4 2/3" camera.
this test is done with the Sony FS7, and other cameras will work with this adapter if they can capture a centre scan or S16 sensor area. such as the FS5, FS7, FX9, various Black Magic cameras with M4/3 mounts, Canon C70 and some M4/3 Lumix/Panasonic cameras.
This is a HD lens and has very well controlled CA and focus breathing for such a high magnification zoom ratio and fast aperture.
