Excellent Review!!!!!, I bought the Canon Lens six years ago, and just purchased the DZO 20-70 T2.9 cine today, looking forward to using it.......... I use the Canon J15X9.54B4KRS lens with my Panasonic AF101, as well as the GH2, and Lumix G85, A little soft and dreamy look, though okay for what it does, I have Native Pana Lenses for the serious work, and also Sigma Glass....
@@thesharpshooter4u That Cano is probably late 80's early 90s it has a rotating focus barrel, wasn't till early to mid 90 that we stopped using round lens hoods.
I don't have any experience using those on EOS M cameras, but I have heard the flange distance isn't compatible. I'd recommend doing more research to ensure it will work with your camera. Thanks for watching!
@@thesharpshooter4uThanks for the reply! I’ve seen people adapting c-mount or b4 lenses on eos-m cameras so I’m quite sure that the flange distance won’t be a problem!
@@electricburning I have adapted my Fujinon 9-144 to Eos M. When filming in 2560x1440 it works on the near and far end but has some vignetting in the middle. If you want I can send you the 3d print files for the b4 to M- mount adapter
Recently bought the quite rare TV nikkor ED 9x5.5 1.7 with a 1.7x converter. . The converter makes instead what a 2 times doubler what the canons have not a f3.5 but f2.8 so quite some more useful light. Using it currently on my GH5. Will maybe someday buy a GH5s for the loss of light thing. But sofar amazed what the results are. And also got the lens with a extra 0,9x wide angel attachment. Quite crazy distortions with that adapter but makes the lens with al the converters and crop factor. With 0,9x attachment a 15.5-140mm 2.8 😂. And without that 0,9x a 18-170mm so amaing stuff. And CA without doubler is there but surprisingly with the doubler engaging. There in’st that much. Maybe from 1.7 to f2 would be wise.
That's awesome. @@wietseveen3615 . I don't have much experience with Nikon lenses, but I've seen the lens you're talking about on other websites. It's really cool you were able to get your hands on one since Nikon broadcast lenses are so rare. I'd really like to see any samples you have from the lense. Do you have any available on UA-cam? Thanks for watching!
After the first clip the Canon washed the DZO

@@thedave7760 Thanks for the info!
I have a G85, would that lens be useful for sports work? Filming basketball and or am. football
you get an optical adapter and any small differences will mostly be gone.
Thanks for the comment @chrisw443!
I've been looking for a small/cheap 4k 2/3 inch camera. M43 sensor is way too big for me.
Blackmagic micro 4K G1, 2/3 super 16, but 11 stops, and no SD card... but HDMI for monitor & SDI for recorder

with adapter mount b4 for canon ef is it suitable for DSLR?
Great question. Unfortunately, I do not know if it works with the Canon EF cameras. I have only tested with M43. Thank you for watching.
Was thinking of using c mount or b4 mount on a eos m with magic lantern software so I’m guessing vinetting won’t be a problem

@@electricburning Awesome. If you end up doing it and making a UA-cam video on it, I'd love to see. Please tag me in it if you'd like. Thanks!

Have you used either of these lenses? Let me know what your experience has been! :)
