Yeah that’s why you use a lot less water maybe like 5 tablespoons and the rest is milk and honey. Looking at the color of it the matcha is bright green so it looks very authentic and good quality

It almost sounds like you don’t know how tea works, as you also add the amount of leaves you want to your taste there also. Hi! Matcha doesn't dissolve because its powdered leaves. The reason people whisk it is to create a suspension that has the tea particles moving around with convection as long as the water is hot. Since matcha is very astringent and bitter by itself (even worse if its not a high quality matcha) we take sweets beforehand on the tea ceremony so we enjoy the flavors of matcha in a gentler way. Another reason to whisk it is that matcha is rich in saponins that create the lovely foam on top, this foam allows us to enjoy the aroma and sweetness of the tea as well as giving us a velvety texture. These products are just weird to me!
nah this guys a coffee channel so he prob knows shits, but he a dumbass for not following any instructions on the box at all, especially the put it on your tongue and let it melt part, he straight up chewed it.
I am Japanese. You are NOT supposed to put that much Matcha in a cup. Normally, when you make matcha, you only use a small scoop of matcha since it is quite strong and bitter. Matcha does not dissolve in water because it is tea leaves finely ground into powder. We use the bamboo whisk to whisk the matcha tea vigorously before drinking it to avoid tea from seperating. If you only gave a few stirs, I am not surprised it seperated immediately. The biggest problem is you didn't even follow the instructions.
The biggest problem is that you wrote so big comment without realising that he just want his video to go viral, as people like you will feel the itch to comment his fake stupidity 😅

@jld7088 Yes, but think of it less like salt and more like cocoa powder. matcha is a ceremonial tea,, it usually tastes herbal because it's supposed to be natural. it's not usually "american tea standard" with a lot of sugar added. unless you're drinking store bought drinks with intentional sweetener.
Fun fact: Hot liquids dissolve more things. But not all things. So if you put too much of something, it doesnt dissolve all of it. So when basic instructions say to only put 1-2 cubes in it, dont put 3 or it will be "Completly seperated in 60 secs"
That's unrelated, matcha does not dissolve either way, it's powdered tea, not instant powder. Traditionally, matcha is stirred with a special whisk to remove clumps and making it foamy, thus stabilising the powder in the water for longer.
Here is a brownie recipe: **Ingredients:** - 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter - 2 1/4 cups granulated sugar - 4 large eggs - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - 1 1/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder - 1 teaspoon salt - 1 teaspoon baking powder - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour - 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips **Instructions:** 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan. 2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. 3. In a large bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir in the cooled melted butter. 4. In a separate bowl, sift together the unsweetened cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, and all-purpose flour. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. 5. Fold in the semisweet chocolate chips. 6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out clean. 7. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting and serving. Enjoy!

@@taylor3621how original another rage baiter
@@badanimator984he's not wrong.
The first instruction:
Put 1-2 cubes of matcha with 5-6 oz of water.
What he did:
Put 3 cubes of matcha
The second instruction:
Put 2-3 cubes of matcha in cold water bottle and shake.
What he did:
Put 3 cubes of matcha in a water bottle that obviously has water that doesn't look cold.
The third instruction:
Let cube melt slowly in your tongue.
What he did:
Chews it immediately.
He didn't even follow the instructions.
Fr, and he's prolly mad it is not like a latte
😅
1. It's not 5-6oz of water. The problem was not the intense flavour.
2. It didn't say fridge-cold or to add ice cubes to water.
3. Possibly wrong and impactful, but he didn't like it already
I love that they dont only have boring foods in space they try to make it fun to
"i didn't follow the instructions and it turned out bad"
Let's pretend they don't use shit quality Matcha to begin with?
@@RegrinderAlert matcha is naturally bitter...
@@aw_dev Nope. Just like coffee doesn’t have to be.
@@RegrinderAlert1. Matcha is naturally bitter and coffee has literally no relation to this topic
2. ofc it would be low quality space trips aren’t a grand resort
3. dude in the video literally doesn’t obey any of the instructions. It says to put 2 cubes, and he puts 3. Says to put cubes in cold water and he puts it in room temperature water. Says to slowly let cube dissolve on tongue and he proceeds to *chew on it*
@@justasillyentity If you are being pedantic - sure, Matcha is technically bitter. Not to a meaningful degree tho. Tomatoes are too, technically 🤡 Just not relevant to this discussion.
And I hope you realize this is a coffee channel.
This dude prepared bitter tea in all the wrong ways and was surprised when the experience was ass
Packaging: "let cube melt slowly on your tongue"
Him: *chews it*
Instructions:"Let cube melt slowly on your tongue"
Him: " Aggressively bites"
"let cube melt slowly on your tongue" proceeds to chew on it like a 3 year old
"Let the cube melt slowly in your mouth"
This guy: *M o n c h*
That's how normal matcha tastes like without milk sugar cream and ice cubes
The packet: put on your tongue and let it melt slowly.
This guy: chews the fuck out of it
“let it melt in your mouth”
him: nah imma chew
Lesson learned: read instructions
The fact that he completely ignored the instructions-
matcha is a ceremonial tea,, it usually tastes herbal because it's supposed to be natural. it's not usually "american tea standard" with a lot of sugar added. unless you're drinking store bought drinks with intentional sweetener.
“Let the cube melt on your tongue”
Nah, I’d chew
Fun fact: Hot liquids dissolve more things. But not all things. So if you put too much of something, it doesnt dissolve all of it.
So when basic instructions say to only put 1-2 cubes in it, dont put 3 or it will be "Completly seperated in 60 secs"
That's unrelated, matcha does not dissolve either way, it's powdered tea, not instant powder. Traditionally, matcha is stirred with a special whisk to remove clumps and making it foamy, thus stabilising the powder in the water for longer.
@@michaelimhof4212 Nice to know but I was just being snarky. What with all the comments going on about the guys reading skills and all.
Well, it *did* say not to chew it but instead let it dissolve on your tongue
Here is a brownie recipe:
**Ingredients:**
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 2 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
**Instructions:**
Enjoy!
Package clearly says "let it slowly melt into your tongue" but he chewed and remember that's not the kind of matcha you buy at Boba stores, real matcha is bitter.

@@taylor3621shut it respectfully i'm seeing this exact comment for the 4th time now.
bro is the type of person to say any artificial matcha tastes like real matcha
Ryze makes a fantastic matcha with added mushrooms for extra health benefits. I've been making iced matcha lattes with lavender syrup every morning 😋
I feel like you didn’t do this review properly. You didn’t follow the instructions.
Nah he just doesn't know how to read
Ah, but the engagement though.
dont forget. its called Herbs
It is a marketing strategy so that people will actually buy it and do it correctly themselves, pretty cool huh?
“i added 3 instead of 2” “why does it taste like this”
That's actual matcha pressed into cubes. It definitely tastes like matcha. Matcha is fine ground green tea leaves, it is going to separate, and not dissolve.
He not only disregarded the instructions, but proved he doesn’t like matcha. Which is bitter and doesn’t dissolve
Ethan: Does the steps wrong
Also Ethan: Gives bad reviews
Lol there's an entire subreddit dedicated to people like this (who make a bunch of weird substitutions or don't follow the recipe then give a bad review) called ididnthaveeggs
