that skepta take was terrible, i'm british and i could name loads of rap/grime albums me and most other british people like more than dizzee rascal. That skepta song is an absolute tune for the club
Valid, over here in America the only grime album talked about is the Dizzie Rascal one and UK hip-hop is essentially just Dave, Slowthai, and Little Simz here
TPAB is def Jazz Rap but not in the traditional sense of the genre (sampling jazz), should've definitely went for the definitive albums in that genre (Bizarre Ride II, Blowout Comb, Buhloone Mindstate, Low End Theory) for sure To be fair, that Skepta song is a classic. You just don't live in England JIK isn't a Christian Rap album? In what world mate Okay, I'll name some important ones they completely missed out: Emo Rap, Hardcore Hip Hop, Lo-Fi Hip Hop, West Coast Hip Hop (why the heck didn't they do that last one? they did east and south!)
In my opinion, Donda is a much better christian hip hop album as it deals with his love for Christ and how that impacts his life rather than using Christ as a sort of shield from public eyre. Genre is almost entirely subjective though
Holy Cow dude.i. absolutely put to shame by your knowledge. To the poit where i was just not even voicing my pics in my head hahahahaha great video great conviction The love Of Music shows clearly to me. You got a sub outta me 😅
