I think Record Academy is trying to improve its image by winning categories past world records such as the first female singer to win the best rap album, the most Grammy winners of all time, the most winners of the best album of all time even though the quality is below that of the other nominees. This is inseparable from the decline in the quality of the jury and indications of corruption in recent years when popular and good songs that dominated that year were not included in the category.
I am a Kendrick fan first always have been so don’t twist my words, but the hate towards the heist is actually inSANE like it definitely didn’t deserve raoty but to say it wasn’t at least a decent album? Mr morale hits so much harder if you can identify with some of the issues in the album. The one song where he just arguing with his girl legitimately made me break down, since I grew up with my parents fighting nonstop. So many dinners they’d start fighting, and little old me had to take my food and my little sister and run upstairs, and try to block it out and eat my food.
@justinjoestar1902 Sure, but you have to factor production here too. There's a few skips on Mr Morale, and I love that album, it's just not better than MMLP
Invasion of Privacy isn’t last place of this list bad, but it’s probably the worst in the context of what it lost to. There are some fun songs on there, but the project as a whole is just like a 4-5/10
bro, can I get your personal contact? I am so damn confused how you put NAS album addressing societal issues in his album and not only, is his style of lyricist still alive at 21? I mean a classic album? This is personal 😗
Okay see as an Eminem fan, when you put Recovery that low I heard you out, since that's one of my least fav em albums and there is also "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" from 2010 by Kanye. Release Therapy was really dope. A few misses but I ain’t mad at it.
I am lol. King way better
Seems like he got that album mixed up with Chicken and Beer by his assessment
Eminem’s recovery was deserving. Album is so slept on

Food & Liquor should have absolutely won. GKMC losing to Macklemore is a historical tragedy. And Cardi B should have never won a Grammy🤦♂️
How is the eminem show so low?
For real at least top 10 if not Top 5. And MMLP has to be Top 1 for real
because this guys a hater & probably 17 years old.

The reason Take Care by Drake was so successful was because The Weeknd wrote half of it.

Mr Morale and the big steppers was amazing! This album was slept on but is low key a classic!
But Damn is so much better
@@hammerhead5979 It's all preference. Damn was more commercial in my opinion. Mr Morale is not for everyone. I honestly listen to Mr Morale more.
But how can it be higher than carter 3, Eminem show, mmlp and graduation ?
@@buhlovo5683 it's all personal preference. I'm not an Eminem fan. I like some Eminem songs, but I've never listened to an entire album of his. I went back and listened to Carter 3 and lyrically it was all over the place. I was just a kid at the time and enjoyed it.
It’s 2 years old

Relapse being so low is a CRIME (in my opinion, relapse and slim shady lp are em's best album)

Honestly I feel like Invasion of Privacy had more good songs than The Heist but other than that the list is really solid
Plus her competition was weaker, and it was surprisingly a really good album.
@leonzaduncan2438 It's mid, and the heist had bigger hits, which is why he put it over IOP.
Saying that relapse won only because it had Eminem names on it truly showed how little you know about the topic you are talking about
I mean... 100% agreed that The Heist shouldn't have won the Grammy for best Rap Album, but I honestly think it's a great album with little to no skips.

TPAB really does deserve #1. I just finished the album(I know, I'm late, deal with it) and it's absolutely phenomenal. Every part of it is amazing.
Putting graduation at 13 is crazy😭😭
That’s what I’m saying
I mean its a great album the issue is that everything over 13 deserves to be in the top ten. every album from 13 down are phenomenal and some of my personal favorites as well
I mean not really, it’s great but are you really gonna say it’s on par with Igor, mbdtf and tpab. Like cmon, graduation is a great album but it’s not that artistic or consistent ad its sound overall hasnt aged the best.
@@Prodbyjah464 mbdtf and tpab I agree but, graduation is Kanye's 2nd best album IMO, definitely better than late registration and college dropout
@@ntanimates9523 yeah imo and tbh most peoples opinion in general, I disagree. Call me crazy but it wouldn’t even be in my top 5.
DAMN by Kendrick also has 2 stories , 1 being Kendrick's path to salvation by weakness (fearing god) if you listen in the normal way from BLOOD. to DUCKWORTH. and if you listen the other way around it is his path to damnation (from fearing god , and believing in him to commiting sins and at the end , before dying, trying to redeem himself , but god has no mercy)

#4 IGOR
#3 Stankonia
#2 TPAB
#1 Late Registration

@@eman3733idc that much about taylor but he’s talking about her because tpab lost aoty to 1989, but yeah, I agree that 1989 didn’t deserve that win
You should have named the other albums that was nominated for the Grammy. Gives more content.
Waiting for that eminem x travis scott grammy diss track 🙏
I am a Kendrick fan first always have been so don’t twist my words, but the hate towards the heist is actually inSANE like it definitely didn’t deserve raoty but to say it wasn’t at least a decent album? Come on man there are songs on there that are actually fucking awesome, I understand why y’all mad cause I was and still am mad that gkmc got cucked but put a little respect on that album shit definitely has some gems in it
Same for me, The Heist was a classic for me when I was growing up. gkmd was ofc better and should’ve won but compared to the other albums nominated that year, I prefer it going to the heist then Yeezus
The Heist is incredible also This unruly mess I've made
People hate the artist and have only listened to a couple of his songs, and they all happen to be the annoying popular ones. Fact of life.
The Mr. Morale placement here is nuts. Over Marshall Mathers LP, Tha Carter 3, & Speakerboxxx??? Bros crazy
Mr Morale is a masterpiece, I agree with him.
@@justinjoestar1902yeah but it’s still not better than those albums in my opinion

bro, can I get your personal contact? I am so damn confused how you put NAS album addressing societal issues in his album and not only, is his style of lyricist still alive at 21?
The whole album, I mean addressing the IRS, modern day women how he described everything, america still looking down on blacks?
I mean the title itself speaks for it KING'S DISEASE' telling us not to waste our precious time. A rapper being in the game for 30 years and more and coming out with this album?
I mean a classic album?
This is personal 😗
Okay see as an Eminem fan, when you put Recovery that low I heard you out, since that's one of my least fav em albums and there is also "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" from 2010 by Kanye. But Relapse that low?! That's crazy. Songs like Beautiful, We Made You, Insane, Crack A Bottle etc. just make Relapse a great album. And I mean the only other option from 2009 would be "Man On The Moon". Both good albums and even if MOTM was a better than Relapse, Relapse wouldn't be that bad of a choice anyeay imo

The college dropout is a game changer for the industry, it brought new spirit for hiphop with songs like slow jamz, breath in breath out and through the wire, who tells you a lot about kanye as a person and how he wanted to just make pure music.
