Hey Hollis, thanks for your videos. I was at Lowe's the other day and remembered your videos, so I bought two bags of Black Cow soil to give it a try, I sifted the bags and compared the amount of wood chips to the competition, and Black Cow soil had less wood chips, so I was pleased with that, also it seemed darker and if I remembered correctly I liked the texture as well. Very seldom these advertising ads work with me, but the product spoke for itself, thanks Hollis, may the Lord Jesus continue blessing you!

Love patotos! If you plant a couple of five gallon buckets then plant two more in a month. Keep on doing two buckets every month you will have a harvest all year long. Plenty to eat use for seed and bless others. Just a thought from someone from patoto county in northern Maine. Unfortunately we can only get one harvest a year due to weather conditions. Nothing like taking patotos from the field wash (the skin comes from just from washing no effort involved) and cooking them immediately! Delishesness!!!!!!!! Love your homestead and I have to admit I am very jealous of your weather. So sick of cold and snow and it's only February three more months to go!!!! 😪😢😭

I grow all of my taters in the same 20 gallon containers, my wife and i are always full of anticipation when it's time to harvest them, it is always a great day when we finally see what we have been blessed with! Handy dandy potatoe tower love that. Thank you for sharing I am planting potatoes in my small garden now I know what to put in the mix how much to cover ..how much to water. And stage 5 stop watering and 100 days to harvest. God bless I appreciate your great videos😀
Hey guys. Yesterday I went to look at your old growing potatoes videos from the old house, again, since I saw them before you guys moved to this homestead. I was looking at what size bucket you planted in, and how you did it, just to refresh as I planned for this season. When I finished, I also checked out your sweet potato video also. Imagine my surprise today when your NEW videos showed up in my feed. I took a break from before Christmas to about a week ago, so I missed your new videos on the potatoes. So, now, I am watching the new ones too. Great information, so keep it up. You and Nancy, take care.
I always enjoy the videos you & Nancy make y’all keep it simple easy to follow. I’m following your lead for all my gardening I love your beautiful gardens 🪴 & homestead 🏡
Thank you Hollis and Nancy! From start to finish is what makes your videos so good to watch and helps in learning. Enjoyed watching Bing Bing try to eat a small potato too! He’s so cute! Please keep the videos coming and helping us in the gardening community. Also Love to watch and learn Nancy’s recipes from your bountiful harvest. You two are a special couple. We all love you! Bobble in South Carolina!!
Love the scenes and photos you put in the videos between scene changes. Especially enjoy Bing Bing. As always, your videos are great and I really appreciate the instructions and being able to see the start to finish. Thank you.
You are very welcome. Yes ma’am. The progression videos take several months to build. Most UA-camrs would rather record and release on the same day. We would rather invest in the progression video to better help the folks trying to learn
You guys are my biggest inspiration! Me and my family watch you and Nancy all the time. We are in an apartment now, and do what we can, but the second we’re in a house I can’t wait to have a little urban homestead of our own! ❤️🌿 Thank you for all your hard work. And Nancy! I love watching you cook, always looks so good.
Hollis and Nancy...The very gift of God that you actually have with you in the face of knowledge, and the actual manner in which you just keep sharing your knowledge with others is just amazing as well as so very commendable work you do. Thanksgiving for such wonderful work of yours. Be blessed always!
Lol! Bing Bing and his tiny tater! We love your vids! I've learned much over the years, watching you two (three) intrepid gardeners. The thing I admire the best is how easy the process is when you have your work stations set up efficiently. Thank you! Blessings, health, prosperity and peace to you and yours and to all who read this! 👍😘😇💖
Thank you for watching Jane. Yes ma’am, we tried to set up the new homestead so every aspect of gardening has a work station to accommodate whatever we are doing. Planting, seed starting, drying and curing, cleaning the harvest, processing the harvest, storing the harvest. Everything works together to make it smooth and easy to do👍
Thank you for such great videos full of information. I absolutely love how you go from start to finish all one one video! Super helpful and appreciated!
I love this new video on growing potatoes. I liked how you share your concerns along the way because it's similar to what's going thru my mind during my gardening experiences. There's no better tasting potato than one you've grown yourself. A lot of people seem to wonder why we grow what are dirt cheap at the store. Well, nothing's dirt cheap during this run away inflation and I don't know what's in food I get from the store vs. what I grow myself. Thanks again, Hollis and Nancy! Please give Bing Bing a little hug from me!
Hi guys i just fell in love with you !! I tried 5 gal buckets 2 yrs ago n it was a miserable failure lol. NO taters !!! But i didn't use poop , or blood or bone meal. Im gona try agin this year. I need a tower like that !! Dang hollis you have everything lol. Watching you guys just feels soothing and comfortable. Guess i just feel Jesus coming outa you. Thx so much.
Thank you guys both for the wonderful content. I grew norland reds last year (thanks to your channel) i grew 8 buckets 🪣 10 gallons each. Only 3 or 4 showed flowers but all 8 had some decent results.
I really enjoy watching you and Nancy Iam a first timer and I love to eat what I grow started about 6 months ago so you know Iam new I am learning so much from you so thanks for sharing

This year I'm going to grow my potatoes and containers 20 lb bags. I love black cow and jungle growth. I always had a wonderful Harvest of everything that I injured myself in 2009 and I wasn't able to get to the ground to take care of my vegetables seven. So I'm going to try those 20 lb bags I'm going to get about maybe 10:15 of them and get myself growing again. I love your videos they help me out a lot. Have a blessed day God bless everyone
You always give us wonderful instructions and tips. We can feel the goodness of your hearts as you share and teach us. One question for really small size seed potatoes is a 2 1/2-3 gallon container large enough to grow potatoes in? They don’t weigh as much for this old lady, they don’t take up as much space and cost less than half the price of the 5 gallon size. If they are not deep enough, I’ll continue to use the 5 gallon containers. Thank you so much for your amazing videos. Keep them coming! 💚🥰💙🤗🤎😋❤️
Nice relaxing video to go with my coffee! Where did you get the Nordland Red seed potatoes? Are they determinant? @26:20 I would love to see that sign on a t-shirt! God bless!!
