It wasn't a terrible experience although close to the end there were a bunch of missing chapters and I had to go find alternate versions for those
i made that mistake with tgcf and i was dying while waiting for book 8, same with mdzs i waited so long for book 5, and it was worth it (INCENSE BURNER CHAPTER)
Genuinely tho. I was looking for a way to read Golden Terrace while doing work and I found a couple chapters of an audiobook and it was amazing. I also listened to this while working and have discovered just how beautiful the audio book world is
I agree! Meatbun did a really good job juggling the multiple, complicated plot lines going on in this story and keep characters really consistent in their personalities and the growth Mo Ran goes through in his journey is just…great, IMO.

That kind of extra paper use to be common in old Indian books. Happens to issue in papper cutting machine. I had such things in multiple times in my school books as well..😮

Even though I read 3 times for erha, I still end up buying the books 💸 I have both ebook and the physical book. Now I can only wish for the immortality drama to release (prob never). I love ranwan with my life, hopefully some Japanese/Korean studio animate this with as much passion and love as we do. There’s sweet moments but there are more bad moments than the good moments.
I’ve been buying the physical copies too! This story is in my top 2. There are a lot of bad moments but I feel that Meatbun did a great job giving the reader satisfying ending despite what happened to some of our favorite characters. The harder the rain, the sweeter the sun ❤

7:23 If you are curious of how that can happen, just know many pages of a book (usually 16 considering front and back) are printed on a huge ass sheet, then the sheet is folded, binded to the other pages, attached to the cover (in case of paperback) and cut to even the pages borders. Considering the picture is good, this crease happened during the folding, so it was cut that way later
Ugh I finished the book yesterday and OMG I can't wait for the next volume! I wonder what the colour palette is going to be for the cover art. There seems to be a pattern of dark-light alternate so it might be dark colours 😍😍
I’ve just finished these novel’s series last year and now this story is the best Danmei for me. I can confirmed you that the more you read, the more you will love all the characters even Taxian jun.(Emperor Moran) The plot twist is really unbelievable and stunning. Please prepare yourself and mind when start reading vol.7. I’ve cried a lot, lost a ton of tissue😂 because this volume really hurt my soul😢 but the best thing is that all the painful I got from reading this, it’s so bittersweet and so romantic painful. Look forward to watch your next vol. review clip! 😊

There is a manhua (manga) online under Dumb Husky and White Cat Shizun. It is far from complete, the story is very long (but so good). Fair warning, it is much darker than Heaven Official’s Blessing and much more explicit. But if you love angst, redemption arcs, mysteries, and plot twist after plot twist (with a side of romance) then this is a fantastic story. It is just not a story for the faint of heart.
I think an animation was announced but I have heard nothing about it. the live action was filmed and was given the name "immortality." sadly due to chinese censorship we may never see it. there is a three seasons long audio drama. I don't know if it's complete.
