I wish people stopped criticising any movie for not feeling like the company it came from. I feel like it mightn’t be as bullied if it came from Sony or dreamworks, because it feels more like a movie you’d see from those companies
I'm in the mindset that feels as though this is GOOD for Pixar. They are doing such new varied artystyles to go along with it's stories. It makes each new movie feel more special that way.
After I watched Turning Red, I started loving it. The art style is great and I like the characters. One of the best Pixar movies ever and also one of my favorites.👍🏾
Hey Gary! I was wondering what your thoughts on the movie how to train your dragon is, its a personal favorite of mine and only few films can compete with it in terms of being an all around amazing film.
I would give this a 6/10. The good things are the visuals, the cartoony style, the character designs, the concept are all awesome! The not so good things are the mother kind of being a lunatic be being overprotective, some uncomfortable scenes, and just not the best story, I just think it was kinda already done like Encanto and A Goofy Movie. 6/10, but A+ for effort.
Respectable opinion! Though, the mother being overprotective was intentional of course. It was the point of her character arc to come to terms of letting Mei be herself.
@@Themeowingsnail And she was a very bold and worried character, but they do it in a respectful and pretty mature manner, and, yeah that's true I guess, it wasn't a bad movie at all, it was fun :D
I hope this movie get sequels or even TV series despite the film was straight to streaming ((thank you Bob Chapek 💢)) regardless it's a fun movie and I feel the love for Pixar movies again and even if Disney is awful right now I hope Pixar can lift the boundaries despite having Lightyear as of recent since the Toy Story franchise run out of playtime also the attack feels pointless since many rush to conclusion and many want the Pixar status quo
This movie is decent for me. I found some obvious moments uncomfortable and the main character is hard to follow.. because of the very energetic nature of the film. It's just fine for me. Would watch again over The Good Dinosaur and Brave
@@Themeowingsnail I think my top 5 favorite pixar movies are 1. Soul 2. Coco 3. Toy story 4 4. Turning Red 5. Onward And my 6th would follow Inside Out and I think it definitely is a masterpiece but just not the best Pixar movie in my opinion.
Solid review Gary! God DAMN Twitter despised this movie for some reason.

The whole trilogy is super solid. All three movies are great and have there own positive merits!

10/10 4 me
It was a pretty good film but I'm looking forward to Lightyear more.
I understand! I'm curious about it as well.
It’s definately no Inside Out or Encanto but I still enjoyed “Turning Red” pretty much.
Yeah, inside out is my favorite pixar movie, but I still really loved this!
I enjoyed it more than Inside Out or Encanto
