    I work in a dental lab. The crown material they are milling is called Lithium Discillicate, or E.max as it's known in the industry. They're the most premiere form of restoration. This guy is so good at what he does. If only a fraction of the doctors I work with were this good, my job would be SO easy.

    I actually had my teeth done by Dr. Bae this last summer! It was such a phenomenal experience. He and his staff are so kind and easy to work with! I got veneers done in one day and I'm still so happy with them. Hardly anyone can tell they aren't my real teeth!! It saved me about 8k to have them done in Korea vs the USA. 😅

  • @budenify

    Dr Bae seems very friendly but his office is run like a factory and their isn’t enough personalized attention with each patients.
    He does a ton of different specialized procedures which require attention to detail at a fast pace.
    Like in the beginning of the video after he prepped the girls veneers and temporizes them he walks out to see another patient. Temporaries are often a feedback stage where you let the patient go home and try out the size shape and esthetics. Her veneers were made the same day without her giving this important feedback. It seems she simply waiting for the final restorations to be milled without any opinion while Dr Bae attended to several other patients.
    In the US half a day would be spend alone on one veneer patient.

    • @jifORgif
      @jifORgif 20 днів тому

      The reason why NOT a lot of US clinic have in office lab is because the increase of operational cost. The cost of equipment and labor will likely eat up a lot of their profit, given that insurance companies hardly raise their reimbursement in years. I would imagine the only clinics that have their own lab would be those with a direct reimbursement model(aka patient pay upfront, employer/insurance company reimburse the patient later) or cash payment.

    South Korea's technology and service is one of the top in the world. You can get a very accurate full body scan there from top to bottom in a day. They are hard working innovators, they are constantly inspired by other practices and try to always improve on the efficency and production of the outcome. Proud of my people.

  • @hjusn
    @hjusn Місяць тому +3

    So, the bottom line is that it is cheaper, including travel costs, to get the procedures in South Korea. It does usually cost around $4k per tooth for crowns in the US. Therefore, I can see the savings if major work/multiple crowns had to be performed because it is done in one day.

      @@IzzySalami Nobody said it's pronounced like Bee, I said Bae. That's different. I asked my local Korean grocery store owner and he confirmed it's a family name and that it's not pronounced like Bee.
