  • In this episode from the 2017 season of My Fishing Cape Cod TV, you'll learn basic techniques for #troutfishing the ponds of Cape Cod, with Ryan of My Fishing Cape Cod, and Danny and Sam from the Goose Hummock Shops.
    From trout fishing with spinners, to trout fishing with Powerbait and shiners, this episode will share with you helpful tips, techniques and local advice for trout fishing on Cape Cod, and elsewhere throughout New England.
    After a hectic summer, autumn on #CapeCod is also a time for peace and solitude. During this special time of the year, I can't think of a more peaceful activity than freshwater fishing. Cape Cod's many ponds are wonderful places to take in the spectacular fall scenery, while fishing for rainbows, browns, and many other species.

    Nice to see the “Joe’s Flies” in this video!.. Their “Royal Coachman” is my favorite trout lure for twenty years now-

    Really great video!! I caught my first Cape trout at Scargo Pond this year, then a bunch more. Beautiful, clean body of water and lots of different species of fish!

    Did you ever use the bubble and fly approach"? It’s also a fun way to catch trout and other fish as well. I primarily use this method along with kastmaster lures. Can cover a lot of ground this way.

      I have not tried that approach yet, but thanks for sharing info about it! Sounds very effective.

    I live on cape abs use lead weights all the time why would they sell them if they are illegal

    • @MyFishingCapeCod
      @MyFishingCapeCod  3 роки тому

      Well I think you can use lead in the ocean, just not in the ponds. Maybe that's why some tackle shops still carry them?

    Why use bait and a rod holder if you’re fishing for trout? It’s more fun to use artificial only like a spinner or spoon. Great video, and a beautiful place!
