A class A amplifier (your's) has 30% efficiency and a power consumption on idle (no signal) too big to even think of powering it from batteries. If a transistor has a rating power of 100W this doesn't mean it will deliver it no matter what. Oh yes, and you wired the speaker wrong. The red insulating ring means +.

No el trancistor 5200 te puede entregar una potencia de 100w pero necesitas todo una etapa inpulsora para sacarles los 100w con 3 vts no haces mucho mínimos para sacarle los 100 w tendrías que tener 36 v y su otra etapa
Eu fiz um desse com um transistor grande de fonte e funcionou em 5v com uns chiados mas en 12v funcionou muito bem, o problema é que o alto falante fica estufado dá pra arrumar isso com um capacitor de 1000uf mas o problema é que o capacitor esquenta. Tem algum jeito de eu cortar a corrente DC do alto falante que não reduza os graves ou agudos?

is that a 100w?ows your transistor I think is 3amp then your power supply is 3.7v how could it be 100w? 3mps multiplied by 3.7v is equal to 11.1w,,, so that is a 11 watt only not a 100 watt
