most of these prequel scores are incredibly difficult! I've seen john williams five times in chicago in my life.... never one of these tracks. would take a few weeks to get it under the musicians' fingers. so they stick to the super popular 'hard stuff' (like the main title)
It was a good idea to cut the music from 2:41 from Episode II and save it for Episode III when Anakin marches into the Jedi Temple with the clone army.

+Eric Graham the book adaptations were better because they could convey all of this without the bad acting but the downside of that is no john williams music
Eric Graham then i hate to say it but you are not a true star wars fan you see a true star wars fan love all the star wars films equally but you are just a hipster who hates on the prequels because its "cool"
Imperial Productions I don't hate the prequels. It definitely had its memorable moments (ie: Jedi vs Sith in Episode III, Sidious declaring an Empire, the Podrace, etc.). They just weren't as good as the originals. In specifics, a lot of the information in the prequels contradicted what the originals had established (ie: Episode II saw Anakin and Obi-Wan fighting a lot, not as good friends).
I understand some of the prequals weren't that great BUT they weren't supposed to be regular star wars. They were supposed to show the fall of the republic and rise of the empire. How do you show that with the typical heroism of the original trilogy? You can't thats why lucas had them darker henceforth changing the type of people who like each trilogy. I personaly like both for their own reasons and i also dislike parts of them for their own reasons.
After a while i realise why tfa didnt click with me. It tried too hard to be the original trilogy. If it did its own thing like the prequals did then it would have been better in my opinion there are too many videos comparing tfa with the og trilogy so watch those.

It's called using a leitmotif, a different "musical idea" for specific characters, relationships, etc, and they get used throughout the series to set the right mood in significant scenes. The Darth Vader theme would be the most obvious example.
the organic chip in their head sadly made them turn on the jedi. Captain Rex of the 501st (White and blue and were assigned to anakin) refused the order. Sorry if you knew this.

@pantscrapper12 Yea, Star Wars tends to remake/remix their themes a lot. so since Across the Stars is the love theme a version of it is in almost every romantic scene.
Anakin and Kylo Ren are probably the most human characters in the Star Wars Saga (is it still a saga or something else now....) really and it is clear they both have severe mental health issues. While Hayden Christensen wasn't the greatest actor i feel he still did a great job: Anakin isn't whiny as such and only acted they way he did because of childhood related trauma and abuse which would certainly make someone act impulsively and a fear others are trying to abuse him. I read a paper a while back that Anakin has the majority of symptoms of a condition called Borderline Personality Disorder or BPD for short. And as it is common for sufferers of the condition to pass it on to their descendants it is clear Kylo has inherited it as well.
This actually is the same thing almost to the Star Wars Episode 3 song that plays once Anakin is marching up to the temple with the army of 501st clones behind him.
