Everyone's talking about 2:42 to the end. But, personally, my favorite part is Love Pledge. From 0:12 to 1:51. Probably the most beautiful variation of Across the Stars with Anakin's dream
I agree, I think that's the best part. It tells the story through the music so well. When they went out into the arena it was epic and beautiful- best part of the movie. Padme's hand in the fight with the monsters was great.
Yes! Someone else agrees! :D I have always loved that part, the pull on those strings is just breathtaking...that whole bit is. I get chills and goosebumps, even after all these years hearing it.
Episode 2 and 3 are my favorites. If it wasn't for the prequals, I wouldn't like star wars since there's no emotion in the original trilogy. The prequals give everything in the original trilogy meaning.
You ever hear the tragedy of darth plagueis the lit? It's a stoner legend. Darth plagueis was a dark lord of the stoners so high and so lit that he could influence the marijuana to create..blunts. He was so lit that he could even save his friends..from getting caught by the police. He grew so high and so lit that the only thing he was afraid of was losing his blunt which eventually of course he did. Unfortunately he had taught his friend everything he knew, then his friend called the police on him. How ironic..He could save his friends from the police but couldn't save himself
I remember the day that I went to see The Rise Of Skywalker. I came out of it so dissappointed. I was so mad. We drove home and my friend put this on. All I could think of was how far star wars had fallen and how much of a joke the new trilogy was. When 1:29 hit, the feels hit. I got so fucking depressed and sad looking out the window at 12 30 in the morning thinking of what could have been with the new films. Now I associate Love Pledge with the new movies...eugh.
1:53 ARC troopers, you’ve been selected for this task because you’re the best. The elite, you all know what to do. The success of your mission is our key to a swift victory. When you get into position, send word as planned then I will join you.
The Arena piece wasn't used for the movie except for the DVD menu, as from the moment the monsters (Reek, Ackely and Nexu) up until the jedi reinforecments appear, there's only percusions in background along with horns and chanting from the arena audience (which doesn't really makes sense consindering the insect chittering and clicks Poggle the Lesser and other Geonosians make, they don't sound alike). The actual piece wasn't used until Episode III: Revenge of the Sith when Vader and the 501 start their attack on The Jedi Temple.
What if for episode 9 they make poster similar to this with Rey and Kylo in Anakin's and Padme's place. Luke in Obiwan's place. Phasma in Fett's place. Maz in Yoda's place. It would be cool
Remember playing this in star Wars Clone wars on Game Cube on multiplayer two players playing in the Arena at 6:40 they little play this in Revenge of the Sith
***** Yes, but Daggerfall soundtrack wasn't based on John Williams and it is older so I think that Chaotrax version of this sentence was more true. Of course John Williams is was one of the greatest composers of all time, especially for movies soundtracks. Also Hans Zimmer and Howard Shore are great nowadays, classical music composers.
Do any Star Wars SUPER NERDS know what "hollow" sounding instrument is being blown at 2:30 to enter in the drum music? I've literally being contemplating this for YEARS now I have to figure it out
Did John Williams write the Order 66 theme before ROTS was even in production? Because I don't remember that track being in AOTC. I'm just wondering why it's part of the AOTC soundtrack.
It was written for the Arena sequence, but it was replaced in the film proper and instead used for the Jedi Temple march. ua-cam.com/video/jHvLYEZJglA/v-deo.html
@@shrimp3rjr413 I know this is 3 years late but sith stalker armor while playing trade federation march. best combination ever Edit. or Clone/republic Army Theme
2:42 onward is great...but I prefer imagining Vader fighting Cin Drallig whilst clone troopers slaughter Jedi...but I also prefer imagining that some of the Jedi would be more effective at fighting than the Jedi visible in the one quick shot inside the Temple during Operation Knightfall.
Everyone's talking about 2:42 to the end. But, personally, my favorite part is Love Pledge. From 0:12 to 1:51.
Probably the most beautiful variation of Across the Stars with Anakin's dream
yep
It's good but I think most people (me included) just enjoy the more intense parts.
I get chills and goosebumps, even after all these years hearing it.
but what about march at jedi temple and anakins betrayal and how moving and heart wrenching yet intense those pieces were
I think episode II is the most nostalgic to me of all the movies
It had really good moments people forget about.
same Ep 2 was my all time favorite movie when I first saw it
callofdutyguy9 Episode 3 for me
Episode 2 and 3 are my favorites. If it wasn't for the prequals, I wouldn't like star wars since there's no emotion in the original trilogy. The prequals give everything in the original trilogy meaning.
I. Th. John williams at his prime during the prequels like honestly

Nah this sounds more like CIS and the sith IMO
from episode 3
It's both. Some credited this music as the Sith agenda theme.
Episode one: Dark side
Episode two: Love
Episode three: Revenge
Episode four: A new journey
Episode five: the truth
Episode six: The End
And the rest too.
Looks unlike the second Death Star...

I just realized that clone trooper helmets resemble Ancient Spartan helmets. Wow.
Uh, wut?
Romans, not romanians.
DarkWo1f997 yep
everything is inspired, some are creations that don't exist. But everything has to come from something.
Jango's helmet is akin to a barbute, which itself is based on the Corinthian helmets of ancient Hellas.
Episode II probably had the best soundtrack of the entire series.
that is so true
Kira121086 I'd go for Revenge of the Sith. Anakin's betrayal, Padme's destiny, and Battle of the Heroes.
+Kira121086 Incorrect. The score of Episode V is far superior.
+bricksmartfilms No.
Oswin Pond "The Asteroid Field" That is all.
my heart melts while i listen to the beginning of this track and just look at padme and anakin on the cover
The Love Pledge is one of my favourite moments in the prequels.
The prequels blended old with new and that's what makes it great

2:04 is my favorite part of this soundtrack
I wish Star Wars The Clone Wars used more movie tracks. Especially from Episode II. Was the clone march theme ever in TCW?
I wish the Obi -Wan Kenobi show used Star Wars tracks. It is quite good so far, but missing that iconic Star Wars music.
1:53 ARC troopers, you’ve been selected for this task because you’re the best. The elite, you all know what to do. The success of your mission is our key to a swift victory. When you get into position, send word as planned then I will join you.

I rather think the main theme of TES II just sounds like the Star Wars soundtrack.
