Hey Mike what color should the transmission fluid be? Mine is 2016 dodge Durango limited & I don’t think the transmission fluids ever been changed. We just had a noise start yesterday that sounds like the trany
@@tedthornton7791 How do you fix those leaks on the ac condensor? I think mine is leaking from either the transmission pan or the ac condensor because i can see some fluids from each part. I will clean and see where its come from exactly
@@RoyaltyWin the condensor on my daughters Durango leaked transmission fluid that you could see a stain on the front right about 2 thirds up. It could be seen by peeking thru the grill. It couldnt be determined by the location of the drips on the underside due to blow back. No repair available to my knowledge. Dealer very high in access of $1000. Because alll freon has to be drained out then vaccumed out then refilled with new. OREILLYS Had best deal cost n quality wise. DYI PARTS N SUPPLIES $200 plus having a ac shop do the ac work. U have to be licensed n have equipment. The original OEM ac/ transmission combo condensor had nonreplaceable drier built in. The Oreillys replacement one has a dryer that can be replaced. She had no pan issues. Keep in mind there is no transmission dip stick. You have to get a universal one with a chart or dealer can scan. The OEM one was retardedly cheap looking. Good luck
Una consulta tengo una Dodge durango citadel 2013 hice el cambio de aceite de transmisión y le puse 6 botellas mopar pero cuando aceleró y freno tiene derrame
The manual recommends 4.5 qts for regular maintenance and 9-10 for a full flush. The best trick to replace the trans oil is to measure what comes out and place that amount back in. If you do that 3 or 4 times the oil will be much cleaner. If you have a flush machine then you can add the 9-10 qts as the manual suggests.
Go to Dorman.com and use live chat theyll send you a updayed chart. Call your local Dodge dealer service dept with your vin number. Theyll tell you which transmission you have. Then look up that instead on chart . My daughters was the NAG1 transmission.
Thanks for the video! Very helpful information 👍
Marc thank you watching. We have a lot more coming out soon, come back and check it out.
On the dealer fill cap, is it difficult to get off? Does it screw off counter clockwise?

My vehicle shutting off at low speeds? What might be the problem, this is my first vehicle
I won’t say much, but in my opinion these cars had 5-speed gearboxes from Mercedes and 8-speed gearboxes from ZF. There were no 6-speed boxes on them.
I have the same vehicle and engine but I didn't get the chart with the universal dip stick. What mark is it supposed to be at? Thx for your help
Better check your ac condenser/ transmission cooler ( both one unit) for fluid leaks its a common problem.
