When we made plans to visit Pismo Beach back in October of this year, 2022, we wanted, if at all possible, a stay on the beach, and low and behold, we found the Sea Venture Hotel.
Hotels along the beach in Pismo Beach come in two categories, along the beach or on the high cliffs. If you want to visit the beach, then most of the hotels on the cliffs prove challenging to get to the beach. 🏖
Ultimately, we could not enjoy the beach because Patti had a broken ankle and was wheelchair bound. 👨🦽
The Sea Venture was a pleasant surprise. It was a bit cheaper than other stays along the beach (about $350 per night in October). Very nice, spacious room and with a hot tub on the deck, yet, we could not use the hot tub because of Patti's ankle. 😡

Oh I used to live there. One block up from sea venture. We did our post wedding day feast with family at the huge buffet they used to have. Oh I love this place. Hope your healing goes by fast Patty.

Yeah, it was a challenge! If we could navigate the music event, we could navigate just about everywhere. It was nice to find out that these coastal towns all provide free beach wheelchairs! We didn't use one for Pismo, as we rented one, a normal wheelchair in San Luis Obispo just to get around, but we did get a beach wheelchair at Santa Monica Beach and Avila Beach.

I've never been to Pismo Beach before; looks awesome! The place you guys stayed at look really cool. Hot tub on the balcony 😳. Great video, thanks for the information too.
