Who else is so old they are still going to buy the CD?
Aaron is just a timeless vocalist, his voice will always carry itself for decades and it's amazing.
hes a MAGA boy tho
His screams have kinda gone a little downhill though, he screamed so much better back in the Tormented days.
@@Nuaexso? Who cares
@@muzixman8962 you do hunny
@@Cliffjumper38 I don’t think they sound much different, except it sounds like he’s not cupping the mic anymore (which is backed up by the fact that he doesn’t cup the mic live anymore either). He never was a great harsh vocalist to begin with.
The 20 second scream is epic!
Staind has been a corner stone in my life since I was 14 years old now I’m 40. This band the music Aaron the lyrics he writes. When I heard tormented for the first time. Made me feel like I wasn’t alone. Ever time they release a album. It was like it was telling a story about my life. Here we are today. It’s still the same. 26 years later. Thank you for saving a young boys life.
43 and I agree with you, Saw them last time live in 2003, in Indiana with Saliva. Revis. Everclear and Evanescence. Staind has been my favorite band since they put out tormented. I saw Aaron solo in 10 or 11 I think it was right before Country boy was released. Now 20 years later I see them again...Tonight! I can't wait....Moshpit again lol lets see how our generation is there lol
Agreed. I am 39, and at the time of it's release, Break The Cycle seemed like it was written specifically for me and my life. I found so much solace in that album. Aaron Lewis will always be one of my favorite vocalists of all time. Staind is still killing it!
36 here and I totally agree with you. Aaron's lyrics reach into the darkness sadness , rips it out and replace it with hope. His lyrics are relatable on so many levels.
43 and I Agree With You 💪🤟🤟🤟🤘🤘👌🤙🤙🤙
there's something about the 40s...42 here. First time was with Dysfuction album (still my favorite) they were touring with Cold i can still flashback to Aaron screaming in front of me during Send in the Clowns
this is absolutely going to be Staind's comeback album
Yes
DID you notice the mud shovel type vocals how long has it been since Aaron used his metal voice.Dont get me wrong I have always loved STAIND but id be a liar if i said i didnt miss the heaviness of the pre- Break the Cycle era Staind!
Agreed!
Wondering whether you even listened to their 2011 Self Titled album?
You just don't understand how much I've been waiting for more from staind. They always put out a song that is beyond relatable.
absolutely 💯
most of their songs just seem to mirror me or situations I'm in/gone through.
@@sunkenduck4960 heartache and lies are universal, and there isn't a better band to encapsulate those feelings than Staind. My #2 favorite band, right behind MetallicA
Production is poor. Good song tho
The production is awful. It should not sound like this
Your speaking for a whole generation of kids who grew up listening to this in their teens, into their 20s and beyond.
Anyone else keep listening to this over and over 😭
Me
The production is cheap and amateurish. None of their past albums sound like this
@@booster330 I agree. Lowest in ME was good, but this song blows.
@@booster330 Yeah, I had similar thoughts about your Mom.
I sure do...like I asked Aaron to write a song about my life these days. Go see them on tour. He's 51, and just reaching his prime!
Aaron’s voice never ages! This is such a blast from the past! Phenomenal!🤘🏻🤘🏻
It's what so many of us needed
It's about time a band made music that sounds like the good Ole days

Starting 1996 went to sevendust is Manhattan. This group called Staind was the opening act. Blew me away saved me from the stress of life. I was 18. Now as a 42 man this brought me back to the raw real feelings. Let's break the cycle of hurting. To whoever reads have a great day. Good things coming. Aaron staind thank you. See you in Syracuse for my 30th staind show
30th??? Dang man, I thought I was doing well going to see them for the 14th time 😅
Wasn't that show at Tramps? I missed it and saw Sevendust the next time they came around with Limp Bizkit and Deftones.
The fact that Aaron Lewis can still produce vocal ability like this at his age after making country for years proves he's one of the greatest vocalists of this generation PERIOD. INCREDIBLE!
It's amazing how they could just come back and it 100% is stained lol It's literally like I'm back In the early 2000s. Can't wait for the release of this
2:35 that growl is otherworldly. Can’t wait to hear that one live!
Like what in the fuck WAS that!
I had my first Staind CD when I was eleven years old. I'm now 28 and the way I relate to new Staind music has evolved over the years. I've been through loads of therapy and many people stronger than myself have helped me begin to heal that inner teenager crying on the floor feeling that Aaron was the only one who understood how I felt. The things that happened to us as children weren't our fault and as we grow, it is only up to us to become better and more whole.
Thank you, Staind, for carrying me through my whole life. Partly because of you, I can stand on my own two feet and know that I am breaking these generational cycles of hurting.
oh my god i want to be friends with you. you took the words right out of my mouth
I'm 39, and I started listening at 17. They all just get better with age
Got mine at 12 I'm turning 36 now. My wife loves staind 2. There music hits every life emotion for me.
@@emilylashomb8990 Same as you mate. Them music helped me through rough days of school.
I’m 28 as well! Lifelong fans 🤘
I got into Staind when i was 14 and now im 36, seems like a long time ago. Aaron writes lyrics that people can relate to. Im so glad Staind got back together and released a new album.
His voice still rocks. The best band, glad they back
"And all my faults.. are all my fault..." I love Aarons song writing, that is an awesome line.
Facts. So simple yet so damn powerful
CLASSIC STAIND! THEY'RE BACK BABY!!
brother, what sound is that ?? Staind is looking like wine. . the more time passes the better the songs!! 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
The world is just a little bit better because of this.
I cannot wait for this album! It’s been too long… This new music is GREAT!!!
When's the album coming out?
Staind lyrics excited to listen to kill this song.❤❤❤❤❤❤
We got a new album coming soon. "It been a while..."
You can pretend that all the problems from childhood and depression just disappear at some point....But the truth is it never will. You just have to accept it and try to live.
Jesus Christ ... the Aaron's voice... ❤
Staind is timeless.
Soul touching all the way down to my demons
This man is a gift from God because there is nobody else who can touch what he does with music. Love his music forever
Simple music can make you sing just as a simple hug can make you feel better,I hope my simple hello makes you smile
@@greggallagher322 thank you.
Aaron is timeless, from his country music to his rock music. Everything is perfect! Glad stained is back!
Aaron’s legendary voice just got better
I'm trying to damn hard not to cry while listening to this
This is why staind has been my favorite band since 96/97
Same here!
Poland LOVE❤❤❤ Staind😍🥰😍🥰
Don't discourage yourself with negative thoughts be encouraged by waking up in the morning
More than 20 years listening to Staind... Do you think someday you'll visit México city?
Aaron has the voice that will always get u ... no one can bring back 2000. Like him. Memories of every staind show . I have never missed them in Detroit an all on michigan... see u at Pine knob. Can't wait
Just saw them live in Bangor, Maine for the first time and it was epic! YOU GOTTA SEE THEM LIVE!
This album is off the chart.
Its a shame that now thers no charting 4 this kind music!Only th pop or comercial sound..
HELL YEAHHHHH!! STAIND ROCKS 2023
Great band 👌 👏 👍
Once again they are energizing our souls. 🤟🤟🤟
I've gotten into heavier music since I first started to love Staind as a teenager, I'm LOVING the little bits of unclean vocals in these 2 singles, reminds me of Dysfunctional, mixed with with Break the Cycle vibes
My favorite on the album so far , cycle of hurting.
Man I love when Aaron screams I miss this Staind! I’d love to see him drop a blegh!!!!!!
Mike Mushok is one of the most underrated guitarists and songwriters
Still so good
What makes me very happy about the new Staind music is that it has the Breaking the Cycle and older albums sound.
Best album since Break The Cycle, just like old Staind but with a slight modern twist
Wow......just nailed my life these days. Just saw them last night in Milwaukee. Epic show.
And just like that, I'm 16 sitting in my room listening to Break the Cycle, all over again.
Staind new material is gold!!!
That’s low scream rumbling through the breakdown!!! ❤
Not Staind making the comeback of the century. They're back and better than ever. Instantly obsessed with this and The Lowest. Absolute bangers. These new songs are every bit as great as their old stuff. 150/10
Simple music can make you sing just as a simple hug can make you feel better,I hope my simple hello makes you smile
Amazing how 2011 was their last album and 12 years later they’re back, super pumped for this 🤘🏼
i first got into Staind when i saw guitar player Mike Mushok's other band Saint Asonia in concert in Toronto Canada
That 2011 album is straight fire! I still workout to it. The opening line "youre pathetic, youre fucking weak, & I'm sick of it all!" ugh, best motivation ever!
2001 was their last album
@@brettconv83 incorrect
@@invertyourcross As far as good albums I should have said. In my opinion. 2011 album didn’t hit it for me
This song and Aarons's vocals. Literally goosebumps I cannot wait to see him live sing this! This album is going to be their best!
My god, how beautiful Aaron's vocals sound. This hits home, hard. I have a feeling we're going to get a future Staind classic with the upcoming album. Welcome back, Staind.
These singles are giving me those heavier Dysfunction and Break the Cycle vibes. I'm liking it.
Just left tampa hard rock show was so amazing these guys still sound the same so fn good. These new songs just wow
Staind always comes back better and heavier every time 🤘
I just start to listen to the old gold. And then they release new music days later. GREAT
This album should be titled “Full Circle” because Staind has definitely come full circle from Dysfunction 24 years or so ago.
No since tormented since 96 they have always rocked
@@greydazeplays Touché. My first experience with them was in 2000 down in Hattiesburg MS. They were in a small venue with Limp Bizkit. It was wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, I think when this new album drops, we are truly about to witness the greatest iteration of STAIND we have ever heard. Over the years they have shown us so much versatility, while at the same time, showing us that they can draw the elements from their earlier heavier side at any moment to show us that they still have those qualities we fell in love with when we were first introduced to this incredible band. STAIND has been my favorite band since I was a teenager, and they still hold that place today. Phenomenal musicians and song writers, there will never be anything like these guys 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Hearing this makes me smile.
Perfect mix of the old and new . Wild !
You know listening to these songs this the closest to Break The Cycle we have had ever from these guys. So many similarities
That's exactly what I need at the moment, going through a breakup. Thank you Staind! You and Seether have been a lifeline for so many times now in my life. Can't wait for the new album!
Same here brother. On the 2nd week of the hardest days of my life. This track definitely helps ease the pain. I pray for your heart's healing.
@@LeMichaelJordansPoleRiders Sending prayers to you too. I get along quite well thanks to DDPYoga. I keep my self-discipline and have a 5-days-a-week program. I'm in week 5 of the program, 2nd week of the breakup. When a dark moment hits and I feel pain, listening to great music helps. And for the rest of the day, especially after my workouts I feel so much better. If you don't know DDPYoga, I recommend checking it out here on YT as well. It improved my life so much already and I feel like it also kinda prepared me a little bit for those dark moments as well.
Yes, I'm going through that dark phases now from time to time, since my breakup is fresh and that is OKAY. But I KNOW these moments will become more rare, since my life is not being defined by one person. I define my life and working on living my best life! Many things in my life have broken my heart - but FIXED my vision! I know it can do this for you too! Stay strong!
Going through a divorce and this album slaps. This is exactly what I needed, Staind is back and it feels like they never left!
The music charges my soul the lyrics burn my heart with Fuel.❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The first band I ever saw live, opening for KoRn in 1998. It's so awesome that they're still around.
in the year 2023 this is just pure gold i cant believe real music still exists thank you for saving us Aaron
They sound better than ever... Wild
Another banger! Their songwriting which was already superb has further improved. Can't wait for the album
Their new music is heavier than the old stuff sounds great!
God, man this band has not faltered in the slightest 🔥🔥🔥
Aaron is like fine wine he gets better and better with time
This, again, is like their first album, and that's a good thing.
And this is the Staind we were introduced to!!! Finally back......
Once again STAIND is saving so many of us.. so fucking awesome. Thank you for this.
Staind, welcome back!
Thank god we still have Aaron Lewis and LaJon Witherspoon
always great, step on the gas🤟
Staind never gets old..I'm 44 and I still love them as much today as I did when 'Break the cycle' landed..🤘🖤
The cycle breaks when you let go of your past and your regrets. If I live with regrets it doesn't make anything currently going on any better. Learn from your mistakes and you will have peace of mind. Life is waiting for you tomorrow. Tomorrow is the opportunity for self improvement and a blessing to have the opportunity for a better day.
These guys have always been about healing ✌️
OMG, just so powerful ! Aaron the best !
Getting a serious post 2000 vibes ❤🎉
Yessssss!!!!!
GOOD JOB!!!!!
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is so exciting. So STAIND!!! STAIND 4 ever.
So good. Replay replay replay track on loop.
Love.
It's remarkable how lyrics of every Staind song can penetrate through the soul and carve into the bones
When you're 30 and the lyrics start to become more relatable. One of the first heavy bands I ever got into, still just as good all these years later 👍🏻
This sounds so good! Like they never even took time off. By far one of my favorite bands. I'm so glad that they are making music together again.
I never thought we’d hear this kind of music again from Aaron or Staind in general. Thank you so very much for proving me wrong.
12 years later, they are still bringing it
I’m loving these songs . I remember being about 12 when my Dad bought “Break the cycle “ and we would listen to that album all the time in the car or on trips . That album was a big influence in my musical taste .
Man, you and me both brother. Break The Cycle was a big influence on my musical tastes too. I always loved the more melodic side of Nu Metal.
• Staind - Break The Cycle
• Dope - Life
• Drowning Pool - Sinner
• Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
• Mudvayne - LD50
• Rammstein - Mutter
• ill Nino - Confession
And many many more
And suddenly I'm transported back to 2001
Can we appreciate the growl beginning from 2:35 for a minute/3?
I’m still waiting to wake up as someone else. Lyrics that hold me at a cage.
Arron you don’t understand. Your just singing.
I lost someone close to me due to my inability to change. And this song hits my heart so deeply that now I realize I need to make a change in my life.
Picked up Dysfunction for 9$ at disc jockey 'a few years back' and here now enjoying the great sound that is Staind... all the years later 🍻🤘
when you can unlock the memorable moments in life with the aide of a song as the key
Its about time! Aaron lewis and Staind changed music for me.
No matter who comes down the pike in music, nobody!! will ever be as timeless and unique vocals as Aaron(The GOAT!)
Love having you back🎉
mike mushok is staind's real mvp
Staind till the end of time. Love ya
Staind helps you break through the pain, the mental abuse when you feel you cannot gain. An old friend introduced me to the lowest in me and ever since, I turn to them when I have a slightly sideways day.
