Those are excellent suggestions. Amazing how useful those little pads are, we used a few magnets on the access panels to make winterization easier. Just got back from St Augustine and heading to the mountains, catching up on UA-cam! Thanks again for sharing your experience! Very useful.

@@accountingstepbystep2229 One light stays on really well with the tape that was on the light. The other 2 lights came off after a few days I used the red 3M double sided tape and that didn’t work for those 2 lights either. Weird, so I found a roll of tape at ROSS but I forgot the name. I will let you know when I get home after the weekend. It is holding up those 2 lights for the past few weeks. 🤗

@@BamBamRVAdventures one more thing to ask. My wife and I had a class C RV before with a bed in the back that we didn't have to put the sheets on every day. I see with the airstream, the couch and surrounding cushions turn into a bed. How do you deal with making the bed every day? From what I can see, you take all the bed covers off every day to set it back up as a couch. Thanks again!

@@jeffzerbe5623 yes the adhesive backing failed twice on 2 of the 3 strips. They are still on right now after last year’s summer heat. They failed after 2 weeks of installation but after the second time they stayed on good. 🤷♀️🤞
@@jeffzerbe5623 the adhesive wasn’t strong enough to hold that light though To drill the first hole in our rig was hard but it gets better after that. 😂😂
One more question on the USB C lights: They are magnetic. In the locations you put them do they magnetically stick or do you have to attach a magnetic pad? Assume if a pad, the adhesive is holding?
@@jeffzerbe5623 hi Jeff, the light comes with the magnetic strip with adhesive in the back of the strip. One light strip in the package kept coming off so I used a new 3M double sided tape. Did you strip lights have two magnetic pieces the light attaches to? Mine has two pieces you can screw in although i would prefer not to if possible.
