I agree. She has been more active lately and was part of Dark Shadows Christmas Carol in December, 2021. The reading of Christmas Carol was fine but I enjoyed some discussion time with the actors in the Zoom meeting.
Kathryn Leigh Scott was my Favorite Actress on DS. She was natural, charismatic and always believable. She had a "girl next door" quality Without being a naive "I don't understand what's going on" type. She was so Beautiful too, with that auburn hair.🌟😍
The reason Alexandra Moltke was hired was because of her resemblance to Joan Bennett. I wonder why they never pursued a storyline about Victoria being Elisabeth's illegitimate daughter.
@@Bette-tp5gj I'd watch them do scenes together and think, "How can the other characters not see the striking resemblance?" But the writers never got around to it, I guess. Barnabas showed up and the show took a whole different direction. That's especially true when Vicky went back in time to be in the Barabas backstory, maybe the best storyline in the series.
That was the original story plan, but Alexandria left the series before they pursued it. None of the subsequent actresses playing Victoria Winters looked enough like Joan Bennett to make it a convincing angle, so it was scrapped. However, the audio revival series finally got around to establishing that Victoria Winters was Elizabeth Collins' daughter, so it's actually canon now.
Everyone loved Alexandra, and was upset she left without finishing her story line. She left in November 1968, her story line would of carried her till January 1969. We all wished she had held on a little longer then after the birth of her son, return to the show later in 1969.Yes, they could of gave her an evil twin ,had her under a spell or possessed..for a while at least, but we lost her.
Loved Nancy David Alexandria Chris and the others, Still adore and admire this fine late 1960s early 1970s series and movies, Hope they can restore NODS sometime, anyone know? ❤
I like when Barnabas called for Willie Willie Man I like this show All great actors Really like when Barnabas,Angelique,Hoffman and Proffesor Stokes save the day against Gerard If you get a chance all episodes are on Tubi
The dark shadows still is and always will be one of America's favorite / the cast is so amazing and directed so great that perhaps the actors made it realistic and comfortable with every detail standing on the seat waiting for Barnabas to be a lady's man for every lady on the show his twist from Maggie to Victoria down to Angelic ben stokes wow I was the whole series but at the thought Barnabas took off with doctor Julia in red car and bananas was in passenger seat and Julia driving
Conrad was an unusual name first even for the 1960s. not too many americans by that name. unless they were older in the 1960's and Conrad Fowks was the younger in those days. why when the credits rolled up in episode 21 of season 3 I thought that name was the father.
Great show, I remember watching in late 70s and early 80s at night. It was re runs at that time. But don't understand why they did not run show at evening or night time instead day time tv in 66.I believe the show would have done much better and had far better ratings.!! It was not kind kind show to air in the day time!!
Conrad Folwkes of the reddish color and on the back coverings of his head/hair, looks like he has as head hat coverings, makes him looks likes he's some of pastor, like a Bishop or a cardinal. And of course, as from the window light, that's what makes it looks like it, as at it as it shines, from the back of his head/hair
Alexander Molthke Isles might not like looks as that quiet as beautiful and has that as not a quiet younger look, might has an different outlook, but still looks very attractive. Nancy Barrett might not looks a quiet as that pretty, but by a hair cut short, as a different outlook, she as still has the same cute outlook of an attraction.
Alexandra paved the way for Dark Shadows. She is so awesome!
I agree. She has been more active lately and was part of Dark Shadows Christmas Carol in December, 2021. The reading of Christmas Carol was fine but I enjoyed some discussion time with the actors in the Zoom meeting.
She had a Real Charisma.. something Mysterious about her quality.🌟
One of my favorite shows Dark Shadows
Good for Alexandra! Sounds like she’s doing important, meaningful work.
I agree. She is so interesting to listen to and so strong in her opinions.

Joan even said she was her daughter in an interview

With the exception of dark brown hair... Moltke looked NOTHING like Joan Bennett.

Nancy Barrett was a natural actress on that show.
I agree.
Loved Nancy David Alexandria Chris and the others, Still adore and admire this fine late 1960s early 1970s series and movies, Hope they can restore NODS sometime, anyone know? ❤
Wonderful!
I think my favorite character was Pansy Faye. And of course my big crush was Quentin.
Grayson Hall and Jonathan Frid are the best. Even though I adore all characters they are my favorites 💓
And here I was expecting to see David Hennessy in this clip. What a let down!
I like when Barnabas called for Willie Willie
