I have several hazmat GTS (2007, 2008, & 2009), but it's the William Larue Weller, specially the 2009 that's the finest Bourbon I've ever tasted. BTW, your GTS 2012 is a 17-year-old (Bottlebluebook). Cheers!
hello? I am a bourbon lover living in South Korea. I found your video interesting, but my English isn't that good, so I'm curious which one tasted best.
@@yourdrinkingbuddy A while ago, I held a vertical tasting of my personal GTS collection 2017-2023. 25 people participated, and first place was overwhelmingly GTS2022. 2nd place is gts2020. 3rd place was ecbp c919 in a gts bottle... 8th place was... gts 2023. I think my GTS 2023 was fake.
@1234hanha that is a crazy awesome flight! There is another channel that didn't like the 2023 and had a cork expert try his bottle and it had cork taint! Maybe that was a broad issue.
Wow! What an awesome flight to share! I love his reaction to the reveal of 3 GTS pours. I'd say my favorite pour is Russell's 13 batch 3. Strong cherry and just as it starts bordering on too medicinal, the oak takes over and lingers forever.
The Mighty Fine is your favorite bookers? That was the first bookers I bought and was disappointed but I got a Knob Creek Single Barrel and pretty much figured out I don't like Beam stuff.
If you dont like Mighty Fine, bookers isnt for you. Now, you might still try OLD beam. So Knob 15 or 18 or Hardin's Creek. COMPLETELY different profile. Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
Dwayne you lucky bast@rd! I've never had GTS either (heck never even had Stagg Jr) how do I get on the show!!!? Just kidding, I would be a horrible guest. My nosing notes would be "hmm ethanol", and most of my tasting notes are either "blech?" or "hey, that's tasty" or "wood/paper". Neat vid, very cool to see a tasting with three different batches of GTS.
I think one of these was possibly the best whiskey I have ever sipped. What is the best whiskey you have ever had?
Big call when you feel like you've just had the best whiskey ever!

Great job fellas! Can’t go wrong with GTS.
Absolutely. It was amazing. I think that 2012 really blew me away.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I've been waiting for someone to compare 2022 vs 2023, this is even better!
I havent seen anyone do this before, so when I realized I had 2 gts samples and a bottle, I HAD to.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
I co-own a GTS 22 and 23 and trying to decide which to sell and which to drink
@@BuckMcAntlerson i preferred 23.
Also, 22 will have more secondary value if that matters.
One of a kind line up there
For sure buddy! I hope you get to pop that Handy soon!
Cheers and thanks for everything 🥃
I’m thinking on my come back live stream. Gotta wait for good news from the doc first
That was super cool!
I still cant quite believe I was part of it.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃

Funny, another channel I watch, Drums and Drams just did a flight of 3 dusty and recent WLW’s, this should have been a collab!
Nice! I will check it out. He was the ecbp c923 controversy guy?
Cheers buddy thanks for everything 🥃

So which was better between 2022 gts and 2023 gts ?
2012>2023>2022 for me. And that isn't because I have the 23, I preferred it blind.
Cheers buddy thanks for watching 🥃
