Love that album .. other suggestions would include "Devil Inside" and one of my fav all time songs, "The Loved One" .. oh man that song has some cathartic effects
One of their best and most powerful songs. one that has very special significance for me personally & that will ALWAYS be on my life's playlist. Loved that band forever... RIP & Godspeed Michael.
Marty, many thanks from an Aussie who lives in Melbourne. Why aren't more Americans aware of Australian Music? INXS are great, but; there is so, so much more Australian music to discover for the curious. Cheers.T. Oz.
I have been listening to this song recently. It sounds so rare and I like Michael H's singing voice.🎤🎤 From my perspective, your tutorial looks simple, so I am looking forward to practising it.🎸
Definitely will be learning this.. thanks for doing these videos.. Would love to see you do Tom Jones Burning Hell.. so badly want to play that song.. been trying to pick the song apart..
Can you please please please do a tutorial on Saturday night by the misfits, my favorite song and you’re the only UA-cam guitar person who works for me and I refuse to watch anyone else’s tutorial. Please please please I would appreciate it so much
Does anybody Know how to Know when your fingertip Has to touch the string above im confused because I see it being taught but see it multiple times not being used thanks
I'm still a newbie but if I understand your question correctly it's just to mute that string so that if you hit it while strumming it won't ring out. For the C chord for example, I use my ring finger or sometimes my thumb from over top to mute the low E string because for the C chord you are only supposed to strum the upper 5 strings (the A, D, G, B and e strings).
@@Bigman-zo2lv Are you talking about muting strings during riffs and solos? I'm finding that there are quite a few different techniques to mute all the unwanted strings and that it's actually very difficult to get it right. I'm starting out on electric guitar and keeping the strings you aren't playing silent is half the battle. As I said, I'm still very new with just under 3 months since starting so everything is still a struggle for me.
@@Bigman-zo2lv Yeah it's quite difficult. I'm working on getting better at muting the strings above the note I'm playing with the palm of my right hand (palm muting) while at the same time muting the strings below with my fretting hand fingers. You just can't expect it to be perfect right away and be patient with yourself. Keep working at it and it will happen. I know my playing still sounds bad but I have improved a lot and when I feel frustrated or hopeless I just try to remember where I started compared to where I am now.

This is a terrible lesson, you play several barre chords and don't explain or show what your doing as well as other parts of the song, really awful, I have followed you for years and have loved your work and this is really disappointing
INXS has some really good guitar parts, so complimentary to the kind of music they were all about.
Great tune from a 80s band that should get more recognition. Thanks Marty.
