wow wow wow i have never watched someone actually teach me a whole song without getting angry at them. Beautiful voice aswell. Love the bit of humour you thew in aswell. finally know this song!
excellent tutorial. easy to follow. i like how it is broken down and in context with the lyrics. the other piano tutorials on here do not do that at all.
Thanks for this great lesson. Are you able to teach us the sax solo part (on the piano of course)? I need this so that I can play the rest of the song. Cheers
Brilliant Jason, I have a Korg piano and a M-Audio keyboard controller and I'm so glad to find a use for my MIDI Controller! lol Just you carry on and teach like you're doing, reasonably slow so we get the keys.
I've always started with a C major in the right over an A to a C sus 4 in the right over an F (forgive me, I don't read music). For the "can never tear us apart", my right hand would play a BDGE. It's always nice to hear how others play it to make me rethink things :)
I figured out your lesson Jason but I was playing with the song and noticed you might try starting out the song with a regular C chord and then when you drop to the F bass note continue with the first chord you showed.
Excellent! “If you can’t remember that, hang it up!” Great tutorial!! Thank you.
I thought there was only one guy who could ever sing this song!!! Wow...you've got a great voice!!! x
