K.I.T.T is an AI integrated into a car, created by a SECRET and private agency. the pontiac firebird was a good choice. It expressed power while remaining discreet. all these cars look more like a batmobile than a new car (KITT) for knight rider.
Honestly, I do NOT like any of these because there was too much red light on front like big lips, purple lights on wheels and on body is way too much and not right places, the couple had no light at all which misses the point of Kitt. Making it anything but black so any other color added is not right. Some were close to a good update version but missing some elements that made the series great. There could of at least been some interior shots of updated interiors. Some people put too much where it is not needed like boosters, large scoops, etc which is too much. I grew up in 80s, KR was one of my favorite shows for a reason and sad to say, none of these would work.
I'd love to see a reboot off the show. I really would. But, I wouldn't wanna see it with a mustang. I' d love to see it with a new type of Trans Am. Or maybe a Dodge Challenger. And I'm sure that GM could make a newer version of the orginal K.I.T.T. or like I said a sleeker new lookin' Dodge Challenger from Dodge. And have David Hasselhoff and the old K.I.T.T. make a cameo in a couple of episodes. Sort of a passin' of the torch sort of thing. That would get the new show of to a really good start. And rather than it bein' solely out west for the most part. Have em' go all over America. I think that would be the coolest reboot ever, in my opinion.
None of these cars look real. They all look like AI superimposed on some real backgrounds. Pretty sure I've never seen K.I.T.T. in Night City😂 1:04 This one has two sets of doors on the same hinge. The doors are open and closed🤣 And the wheels aren't even touching the ground🤣🤣

The reason they chose the 3rd gen Trans Am was because it looked like it could be a car from the future (and it still does). That's why the reboot with that fucking Mustang was so terrible, it just looked like every other car on the road.
It's like a mix of the batmobile meets mad max with a hint of knight rider.
The AI narrator could pass as a new KITT voice.
