Thank You so much for this wonderful video. Love it. I have become an avid Great Lakes Boat watcher in the last month or so. This video helps get a different perspective of the locks. There's a live camera at Lock #7 which I love watching because you can really see the change in height of the ship in the lock. Thanks again and would love to see more of the Great Lakes.
This is wonderful! It provides a great perspective of the relative dimensions of the locks, that you can't really appreciate from ground level. Thank you so much.
This was really good for the visuals, but where exactly is the Welland Canal? What are it's terminal points? How long is it? Where is each lock located? It's not as well known as the Erie Canal, you know. But, as I said, the visuals are spectacular and you did a really good job on those.
Always wanted a drone, but it seemed everything that was available needed Android and/or a cel phone. Do you have a different setup? Looks like a monitor and a standard flight yokes. Very curious, nice video.
Why does the water level look so low going thru the locks ..? Doesn't look like A row boat could go up and down in some spots ? Is Maint. going on in spots and it is drained some ?
My brother and I used to go and watch them pull cars out every winter when they drained the canal. It is a great place to get rid of stolen or insurance claim cars.

It starts at Lake Erie in Port Colborne. The end is at Lake Ontario in St Catharines. Google Map will show you the whole route.
@@romansindo I looked it up. It's got more renditions than the Erie Canal.
Excellent Video! Thank You.

I am using Samsung GalaxyTablet and it works excellent. DJI Phantom is very easy to use and quality is excellent.
I am curious about using a screenshot or two of lock 3 from this video for a video I am working on, not sure how you feel about this.
I'm OK as long as it's for your personal use.
Thanks for getting back, made the video without the shot.
So where is this place? Maps are always useful..Maybe its in China or Russia, I live in So. Cal. I don't have a clue where this is. Thanks.
In between Lake Ontario and Lake Erie in the province of Ontario Canada.
The name of the city is Welland.
It's Thorold, Ontario Canada looking north toward Lake Ontario. This canal bypasses Niagara Falls.
Are you that lazy that you can't Google it.... ffs.

The canal is drained from the end of December to March for repairs every year.
