Hi. I've cleaned our ice maker many times before with not problem. This time I went through the clean process and now nothing happens when I turn it on. Water does not start to circulate. Uggg. What could be the problem?
Here is a question. I have cleaned the machine and changed the filter many times. Three times , when I cleaned it and changed the filter, it stopped making ice and I have to call and pay for service. Why do you think, when you clean it, vacuum out the dust, change the filter, it decides NOT to work right after. it was working fine when the Clean me light was on and Change the filter light was on...but right after I cleaned it, it stops working. Any one else have this problem?? it is like, Why clean it, when you know it will break down??
I have the same exact issue with my ULine undercounter ice maker. Every time I clean it, being careful to follow instructions exactly, it doesn't work. It displays error code 11. The manufacturer tells me that I have to turn it off, let it dry out a few days and then turn it back on. I've done all of that and it still displays error code 11. It costs me $125.00 each time I have to have a service man come out. UGH!
@@brendablackmon4490 I just had the repair guy leave. $136. And he took my ice maker to his shop. Says the compressor is going out $1000. I guess after 8 years, it is time to buy a new one with a 5 year extended warranty
When you change a H2O filter it will get air in it. There is no way to flush the air out manually. It will take several cycles of calling for water before the air is flushed out. On a refrigerator with ice maker you can flush the air with the water dispenser through the door. Ice machines done have water dispensers the air will take a little timid to be released.
@@ljslw Are you saying, that I do not need a new ice maker?? The repair guy says, Need a new one...so I asked him to bring it back...So, Now, I have my ice maker back home, but unplugged. Are you thinking, I should keep trying to see if it will eventually work?? Can you explain exactly how/what I should try so I am on the same page? Thanks for the response. Glenn
@@brendablackmon4490 I am having the same issue with my ULine undercounter ice maker and no one seems to know how to fix it (even repair people we have had out). Do you know what the repair person does to fix it? We have tried a ton of stuff. HELP!!!!
this is what mine is doing and I have found out the fan isn't working. I took the front bottom part out and cleaned it out (it was really bad and clogged). I put a fan on it and it started making ice. My next step is to somehow test the condenser fan and see if it is bad or if something isnt' telling it to turn on.
I found this completely useless. Something like troubleshooting in manuals: "Check if it is plugged to the power outlet "
Why would anyone post something like this ??? Total BS
I agree completely.
somepeople like me dont knoew shit about it
The equivalent of reboot your computer.
