Thanks you again for all the great info. What would be the symptoms of bad speed sensor if I may ask?
Fast forward, speed sensor locations at 11:00. Think the '07/'08 I'm doing is a little different, may be external. Very detailed video.
Beautiful work on the details very helpful keep up the good work
My hyundai getz 2003 does not engaging the transmission. Its not running. I just wanna know where the sensor located too?
Great video bro thanks
Bad engineering.
Why put this sensor inside the gearbox?
I sold my 2005 santa fe.
Changing plugs on the V6 was a nightmare.
Thank you for this video.
Agree. If I designed them, all valves would be changable from the outside, but alas they want to support the repair industry. If I could remove each valve and relay I could test without taking apart.
Hyundai has terrible engineering design for everything. Bunch of knuckle heads. Everything is a hassle to get to. What they did to something as simple as changing a 3rd brake lightbulb on a 2009 sonata is almost criminal.
@@hearditfirst8010LOL, the rear brakes are a federal crime to work on in these cars if you ask me. Just to get the caliper off to remove the rotor you have to pull off the upper control arm that is twist/bolted to the frame. Need a jack separate jack to take it off.
whats your favorite designed car as far as easy repairs
Can I get the gearbox loom only for this ix35 automatic diesel
Cual era la falla , por qué decides reemplazar los sensores ???
What about this same repair for a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe limited edition ?
Is Hyundai grand starex have an input and output speed sensor? Tnx
Good 👍
What's the longest bolt on the valve body. I tighten mine too much and it broke off inside the valve body. I removed it without an issue but I need to replace it. Also the outta bolts that keeps the valve body attached to the transmission. I might need to replace them to.
I know this is a year old, but all you have to do is take a picture of the bolt, VIN, and its location and describe the location to the Hyundai parts retailer. They'll almost always give you the part number on their web catalog. Cheers.
I can't get out the last bolt in the lower part of the black drain pan. It's in the 90° coner of the pan. My tools are blocked by the cars body frame. 2011 GLS. What told can reach that tight area? 10mm bolt.
These guys never answer people questions. I tried to ask the couple they never get back to you.
Hello guys, help me with a problem with a Ford Focus MK3, you know if it has a gas filter under the car !!
After installation I got error Code P0722. Does that means the sensor is bad or the sensor hoes needed cleaned first? I never had an error Code until the replacement was installed and everything was back together.
Add more oil
Output sensor veracruz 2008 location ?!
Where can I buy out put speed sensor
rockauto
Why is it always foreigners doing these videos that you can understand a word he says, cause he talks so fast.
Hello guys, I'm currently using a Hyundai Elantra 1.8 2005,currently I'm having issues with the gear change from 3rd to 4th (final) sometimes it changes late. When I reduce speed and slow down it drops to 1st gear but the idle ram is stuck @1500 and normalise to idle sometime later. What could be the cause. My idle valve has a crack but I managed to glue the crack and it's working. TIA. 👍
I changed the speed sensor on my 2011 GLS. Now the distance to empty gauge is changing erratically. Shifting from P to D or R, my car jolts. Shifting became smoother after a few mins of driving. Also the car's speedometer doesn't move an inch until the RPMs reach 2. It's like delayed. Feels like I loose power. I replaced the transmission fluid with the engine off (cold). Would that be the issue? Shifting is rough also but not all the time. My main issues are erratic changing milage guage. High RPMs with lagging speedometerc hard shifting. What would cause that? Too much fluid? Too little? A bad speed sensor?
I think when you fill the transmission you should top it off with engine running and gearbox at operating temp..
I had the same problem now, how did you fix it?
Turns out, it was my clock spring. I replaced my steering wheel with 2013 wheel. Mine was a 2011. So I assumes that the 2013 had shifting capabilities. Since the clock spring was going bad, it interfered with the 2013 steering wheels interface, causing my car to shift radically. Replacing the clock spring solved everything. I even changed my speed sensor inside my transmission...the didn't work. My car currently has the old speed sensor.
What are symptoms of a bad input output sensor?
You might get a transmission code or just a lot of bad jerking in/out of gear.
Ma voiture a des problèmes de ça j'ai tellement fatigué vraiment
