Thanks, Clint. What was SO good about you is, you were way more honest than every one else that videos this same job. They make it look easy and it's NOT! You were honest about how difficult it really is. It's a bear trying to get the old one out and just as hard getting the new one back in. And the best tip you gave us was, tighten the 14MM bolt to steady the alternator to try and get the lower 12MM bolt in. Thanks again and she should be happy!
Thanks man!! I used to edit out the mistakes and screw ups to make me seem more together... but then I thought no... people want to see that you screw up too. The whole point of this channel is to encourage people to try doing things themselves. Sometimes that's messy, but that's OK.
Great video, you were the only one showing how to tighten the tensioner bolt.
Glad it helped
This was a great how, thanks man 😁
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for another helpful video!
Hope you liked it!
This just happened to me. After 234k miles, not bad. The power steering pump was leaking and the alternator was catching the fluid. That with all of the hours/miles did it in.
That sounds like fun.
I replaced mine thank you
Good to hear!
I was looking at that and thought he's never going to get all that smoke back into the alternator. I have had bad batteries' over work alternators and cause them to fail.
Once you let the magic smoke out it's all over.
