More touring and sightseeing in this one, not as much 4wding but hopefully you still enjoy :).
In part two we take on Mt Pinnibar and Mt Gibbo which has some amazing tracks, 4wding and views!

Tyler and Kai, you're in my backyard, I grew up in the Brindabella Valley (live in Melbourne these days). I know you did Mc Intyre's Hut and Mt Coree a couple of years ago and it is great you're back in the area. Did you notice that walking up to the caves you followed a dry creek bed, and when you walked back the river magically appears in front of you. The reason the water is so cold (even in summer) is because the water literary comes up from below the ground through a series of pools to create an instant river. Next time you visit I highly recommend following the river down stream for just 2kms to the waterfall. The water is rich in minerals and as you follow this most amazing purple coloured (in the right light) gorge closes in on you and the deeper water has this light blue hue as the sun reflects off the minerals in the water. When you get to the waterfall, you approach from the top, be sure, if the water is not to high, to sit in the small pool located just as the water goes over the cliff. It's like being in a freezing spa pool! When you stayed at Mc Intyre's hut the water from the Blue water Holes is a main tributary to the Goodradigbee River which runs past the hut and Flee Creek were you have also been.
Did you stop at Coolaman Homestead? It is on the track from the Long Plain Rd to the Blue Water Holes. The first time I visited the homestead in 1971 it still had some of its original furniture and the walls were lined with newspaper dating back nearly a 100 years. The horses have always been in Kosciusko but it is only in the past 15 years or so the numbers have gone through the roof. National Parks needs to stop limiting human access and focus on eradicating this feral animal that is destroying this fragile landscape. Yarrangobilly pool is not real warm in the summer months but as kids we would swim in it with a foot of snow all the way around the pool.
First time I crossed at Tom Groggin I had just turned seventeen, with my first serious girlfriend. It was in winter and we floated 30 meters down stream in a Suzuki serria. The old girl filled up with water, sank, luckily it got traction and we finally made it out. Everything was wet, clothes, food and sleeping gear. We were with a 4WD club (all mums & dads) and lived the next few days in old peoples jocks and socks. Not as much romance as I had hoped for that trip, ah the memories.
Can't wait for your next video.

Hey mate, thanks for all the information! You definitely live in a beautiful part of Australia! Next time we will go check out the waterfall for sure, will camp there so we can check out the place a bit more.
We saw the Coolaman Homestead but didn't stop so will have to do that next time too :)
Wow that would have been interesting river crossing haha, every time we have been there its been relative shallow
      Thanks for watching mate

Great vid, was planning a trip down there Christmas this year ( canceled now due to other half :-( lol. ) to those exact places even the route you took from wee jasper along broken cart trail, as i have a Jayco wind-up camper was worried bc trail would be to tight or rough for camper. so you answered that one for me . thumbs up. but you have ingrained the desire even deeper to hit it next year. P.S I bet the blowies were a lot less at April than Decamber/Jan. P.S.S wanting to sign up and support you with patreon soon, can't afford much, but think you do such a great job and effort, so that deserves some sort of support so will try for as long as i can keep it up. Well done.

Other then that on my current budget I'd probably go another NP300 and just do it up a bit differently, been a great 4wd

@@LandTourier They are a great camera mate and you I can't imagine you would regret it. Yep mine has overheated a few times, if you have it sitting and filming for a while in the direct sun on a warm-hot day it will eventually overheat and then you need to give it 5 minutes to cool down again. Its never really been a drama for me, just something that happens from time to time. But id still recommend it as a great camera for photos and filming
