    Interesting run up to Mt Gibbo. And that run down to the campsite at the end was a gem. Had to laugh with Ky catching ya out about the creek water lol😂 I can’t believe how busy it was. It wasn’t as busy over January when we were there. Guess u have to pick yr times to go ....

      @TylerThompson90  5 років тому

      Sure was busy! Easter always seems to be the busiest time at all these places, everyone gets out there

    I once got chased down pinnibar to tom groggin by the rain... I can tell you, once the clay sections are wet it is butt clenching. Lucky I got a head start as I saw the clouds move in and by the time I was halfway down I only had a small section of wet track before hitting a dry section again.

    • @TylerThompson90
      @TylerThompson90  5 років тому

      Yeah I could imagine it would get very slippery in the wet! Would definitely be in for an interesting time trying to get up there

    Looks amazing. Might need to invest in a stainless bucket to heat water over the fire for showers although funny watching you in the freezing water haha.

    • @TylerThompson90
      @TylerThompson90  5 років тому

      That sounds like too much effort for me haha just stick to the freezing rivers haha

    • @markthespark6240
      @markthespark6240 5 років тому

      @@TylerThompson90 Hi Tyler. We have a half stainless keg with the top cut off and a saucepan lid that sits over the cut out. Fill it from the river and then plonk it next to the fire. Wash up water and shower water ready to go anytime. Doesn't take much effort and with a canvas shower bucket slung off your roof rack with a shovel it's easy to shower. Really loving your simple camping style with your little man and excellent videos.

    Nothing A Nissan Navara can't handle !! Magnificent!! Very busy at the top of Pinnibar but at Easter what would you expect and yes the view is stunning...!!! I trust the work done on the Nissan was under warranty ?? Interesting about your fuel situation.I reckon the fuel gauge on my STX Series 2 (2017 model) is dodgy...Today I checked the level and range (178 km's) before driving to my farm at Mansfield....it only took 52 litres !! Which means there was still 28 litres in the tank and my fuel use on the drive up here is normally around 7.3l/100 k....which means my range is in fact greater!! I have mentioned it to the local dealer up here and all they do is shrug their shoulders!! Nice fire !! ps its (CAN KOH BIN) Great stuff mate!! Love your trips!!

    • @TylerThompson90
      @TylerThompson90  5 років тому

      Cheers mate! Glad you enjoyed. Car is out of Warranty but they did it under 'goodwill warranty' because its not that long out of warranty/always been serviced properly so they covered 70% of parts and labour. Yeah i never take much notice of the fuel situation on my car, havent really done any big remote trips where I need to

    Lovin ya stuff mate!...….Been watchin ya scale those bloody hills to get ya shots...….bloody hard work! I know bugger all about drones, but is it possible to use the drone in some of those steep hill situations to get your shots?...….Just thinkin out loud Tyler...……...Keep up the good work!

    • @TylerThompson90
      @TylerThompson90  5 років тому +1

      Thanks mate! Yeah I could do it but would be even more painful constantly sending the drone up and down, the hill would look even more flat from a higher point and also no sound on the drone so would be able to hear the car/nature sounds haha
