She and the president of Myanmar and many government officials had been detained by the military again on Feb 1, 2021 around 3am in the morning. The military government gave election fraud as a reason of the arrest. Military announced that they would seize power for one year as they declared the state of emergency. We people know the best what we voted for. People started protesting peacefully. Military government made a curfew from 8pm to 4am. They shut down the internet from 1am to 9am. They shot unarmed civilians. One of them was volunteer who was 16 years old and was gunshot in the head and died on spot while trying to help the injured person. One of them was a guard volunteering to guard the street at the night and shot in the head to death. One of them was a girl hiding near the building from the high pressured water gun that the military used to un-group the protestors and she was shot in the head with a gun while hiding. One of them was gun shot to the stomach and died on spot. The military government released the prisoners and sometimes drugged them and made them put poisons in public wells, throw fire sticks to the people's houses. One protestor died by being stabbed many times in his house. A car that hit everything on the street intentionally and one man was killed. The military government arrested many protestors and some of them are injured. One injured man was arrested and the next day they dumped him (the dead body) in the street. We Myanmar people will not stop fighting until the military government releases all the government officials, stops all the violence, and gives back our democracy which we voted for. The world needs to know all the cruel and unfair act of Myanmar military government and the situation in Myanmar. These are some of the things that happened between Feb 1 2021 and Feb 24 2021.

@@mandya6697 u do know that the government was silenced with threats of coup and death of NLD members if they spoke up? It's not just the death of human lives, but also the chance for democracy as well. Think about it, do you think the Rohingya are safe now? Far from it. The military that killed them are now blatantly back in power. They wanted to brand Aung San Suu Kyi and her party as traitors to the other ethnic groups if they openly supported Rohingya against the country's main ethnic groups so that they can finally have the excuse to jail and kill the democratic party. U Ko Ni, a devout muslim, was her right hand man in parliament but he was assasinated by the military shortly after bringing up the conversation for Rohingya crisis. Even in the election last year, there were so many admin errors, eg. Our names were intentionally missing, one woman's name was duplicated etc etc. My name and many others were not registered despite the fact that we registered way beforehand. The military rigged us, got caught, lost the election and now they are afraid that they would be stripped of their power in the next 5 years and be arrested for genocide. Despite all the warnings from the burmese people, the international community did not believe us and wanted to frame ASSK. Where was the condemning of military during the ICJ? No, they were more obsessed with making the "fallen icon" headline than actually condemning the military.
add this too: after she refused to testify against the military for the genocide against Muslims of Rohingya , now military made a coup and detained her.
The military was complicit in that genocide, and probably the major force in it. If justice for the genocide is what you've after, then the accomplices have become the jurors.

We strongly condemn this act from the military.

I have sympathy to the suffering of all human being whether Muslim, Buddhist,Tao or Christian. The consecutive leaders of the Rakhine Muslim had make bad decision to fight for separation and merge with Pakistan from 1940, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 00, 10 and now in 2017 and Arakan Muslim just followed them with blind faith. The people of Burma and people of all national race despite them and regards them as traitors and would never be able to forgive their sins. Thus current conflict. But if they convert to Buddhism, swear and act to be loyal to Burma, follow Burma law and orders, never to fight against Burma, respect Burma official religion Buddhism, ask for forgiveness for the wrongs and promise to live peacefully for the rest of their lives, then its possible there is some generosity from the people of Burma to think differently. If not, no a mount of pressure from UN, USA, UK, EU, OIC combined criticism, condemnation, economics sanction, embargo, is going to change the mind of government of Burma and the people of Burma. The more the noise, the more the pressure, the more the condemnation, the more the people of Burma and the leadership of Burmese government are united to face the enemies of Burma outside or within Burma.
She is still the best. She is still fighting for our country. I don't care people taking back the noble prize. I don't care all the fake news and fuzz about ethnic cleaning from the media. Because I live here. I know the truth. I see the truth.
"People could be imprisoned for talking openly about Aung San Suu Kyi in public" . Let alone her presence, just the whisper of her name terrify the juntas. She is not known as Iron Lady for no reason.
Bogyoke Aung San was charged by the fleeing British with treason and sentenced him in ABSENTIA to DEATH, for bringing in the invading Japanese forces in his efforts to free the Burmese from the colonial yoke. When they came back, seeing that the whole country dearly loved and revered him (like his daughter) and was united behind him they would not carry out the sentence; instead, for peace and prosperity the British made Bogyoke the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of War in the last British Administration. What an insightful act!
The speaker speaks like it's a story from a fairy tale book. "The white princess scares her evil enemy away with her bravery" oh! please I'm sure there is much more to it than her "bravery" to course the soldiers to stand dawn. She speaks to a western audience who are mostly ignorant of the complexities involved in the country of Burma. So she paints this picture of 'good' vs 'evil' 'democracy' vs 'tyranny' which is used so often these days with these elaborate experiments of democracy (AKA regime change). I'm sure that suu kyi is another lap dog of the west whose going to dance to the tune of the west. The Burmese people soon will realize the true meaning of democracy.

Please support our revolutionary forces in burma.

when will Cambodia has such a leader whennnnnnnn?
Thank you so much, TEDxSMU. Yes, she is still struggling for our people of Myanmar.
For a Buddhist nation, a military rule is just so ironic and very sad. I hope that the people of Myanmar stand their ground against the greed and violence of military rule.
Our pride
The news is so good👍👍👍
Thanks Ms. Pederson
We miss you mom❤
Currently, the same situation of coup reoccurs in Myanmar. Citizens are very upsetting.
Our mother Su, we miss you so much, please come back and bring justice for Myanmar 😢😢😢
For people that says Aung San Suu Kyi kills Rohigas She did not own the military yet for those people who spread the rumor you should shame on your self
No one accused her as you blaimed. She failed to denoumce the atrocities and had the audacity to blane innocent civilian victims. She is no longer taken seriously as a paragon of democracy. She is tasting it now.
What ? She literally defended the army and what they did in the national court, we know that she doesn't have the power to stop the massacres , but that doesn't give her the right and the audacity to defend it -_-
@@ochanchin9995 I want to advice u that please don't blame someone if you don't know the situation clearly from both perspectives or you don't research about the topic thoroughly.
@@htetshwewinthan ok , can you give me the right "perspective" of someone who "searched" and "studied" the case when she came up before the UN court and defended the army.
Thank you
March 12 2021 and the people are still protesting on the road and fighting for democracy.
2019 and years beyond.. I will still support her and the very strong willed Myanmar Buddhists monks who do not give an inch to Islamic trouble makers.. respect from 🇸🇬
Our leader mother Su
God please protect Her
She and the president of Myanmar and many government officials had been detained by the military again on Feb 1, 2021 around 3am in the morning.
Queen for Myanmar..
Who came here after watching Myanmar protest.. 👍
On February1, 2021 the military arrested her again. Our lady and the people of Myanmar still fight for Democracy .
I am an Indian , l think powerful people don't come from powerful place powerful people make there place powerful. And l can say that she is Mahatma Gandhi of Myanmar
Our great leaders had been arrested by Military junta since 1st February, 2021 coup by military junta. Our country's situations currently like 20 years back although we had experienced tremendous improvement during her time 2015- 2020. We are still fighting to get Federal democracy and release of our precious leaders including Amay Daw Aung San Su Kyi and President U Win Myint.
Esa es una persona que lucha por su pais y no con arma como los cobardes.
Pls pls revisit Nyanmar and ask Sung Saan sui kyi to stop the massacre of the Rohingas
she cannot take a side too liberally. She risk losing the hearts of the burmese public. The military would frame her as a traitor to the country and plunge it back into dictatorship. And even tho the racists in myanmar want her to take their side, she remains silent. She could have taken the easy way out to keep the dictatorship at bay, but she didnt, she didnt side with buddhist extremists that had religious and military power. And she went against them by even jailing one of their leaders. And now shes even working her best to reassimilate the rohingya migrants back in. Fyi, ethnic violence have bern going on even b4 she was freed from house arrest so i think you will agree that giving the military the power to rule id not a good idea.
It has stopped. Repatriation on way.

Man,If you lazy to listen all Listen from 13 minutes to the end.Your problem is you didn't listen or understand the case. Then response me.
@@crewmatewillthrowthesehand7600 But she could and should avoid blaming the victims (Rohingyas) as if they somehow provoked such atrocities to befall on them.
@@eskipotato Sadly true, people that worship one God as The Almighty, howcome they get killed ?
Please save our leader😞
It's happening again in Myanmar. AungSunSuukyi was arrested in her house by military since Feb.1.2021
So proud of u, protect ur people and fight for Rule of LAW with myanmar military and media lobbyists supported by wealthy Islam countries....hope everybody will understand you one day
Now, the military detained Our Mother Su Kyi and controlled our country. They shut down the Internet and wifi. And they don't let us connect with international.
This world need to know what happened in Myanmar. Please, save Myanmar!!
Educate yourself first until y'all haven't seen by yourself what's happening in Myanmar. The locals are the real victims while y'all being dramatic in cases like Genocide without knowing the truth. And y'all should know the military and government are not the same in Myanmar. Government doesn't have the power to control the military that's why we're still trying to get the real taste of democracy. Myanmar lived under the shadow of Buddha and at least we don't force to kill someone if he/she leaves the religion 😌

all the facts she told were true.. and moreover Aung Sann Suu Kyi and the president of Myanmar were detained again by Military Juntas since Monday. We want every parts of the world know about this and this was full of unfairness for her as a leader of winning party. And obviously a theft from the military by force. We strongly condemn this act from the military.
It's a really really painful story, thank you so much for sharing this video...may the God blessed and And released her from custody. ❤❤ Continually praying for freedom.
Thank you for sharing this. I did a project on her in high school and I’ve been following her since.
In 2021 Feb, Aung San Suu Kyi is in prison again.
The more the noise, the more the pressure, the more the condemnation, the more the people of Burma and the leadership of Burmese government are united to face the enemies of Burma outside or within Burma.
wanna watch with English subtitle
I wish she also stand with the Rohingyas.
@Nwayyardi Tawlanyae its okay i already knew it
How do you feel about her now?
She did the best for her country.
She is still the best. She is still fighting for our country. I don't care people taking back the noble prize. I don't care all the fake news and fuzz about ethnic cleaning from the media. Because I live here. I know the truth. I see the truth.
she is still the best !

"People could be imprisoned for talking openly about Aung San Suu Kyi in public" . Let alone her presence, just the whisper of her name terrify the juntas. She is not known as Iron Lady for no reason.
but now, sadly, she has been arrested again. 😟😟
Chethiya Wijayawardhana if she was a lapdog to tje west she would just shout feel good slogans about peace. instead shes weighing everything. Even for the rohinjya situation. she cannot take a side too liberally. She risk losing the hearts of the burmese public.
