I’ve got myself a mullet situation. Today I was thinking it was the worst it’s been yet. Interestingly I got a complement at church from someone I don’t know. You know when a passing stranger complements your hair like that- it’s genuine. It didn’t make me like my current hair any more, but it made smile. A reminder that you never know what people will like. Not that that matters, but I thought it was relevant. 🙂
Growing my hair out as well since February. I just got the mullet part cut off! I AS WELL ALWAYS have my hair up with lots of bobby pins as well. Haha! Nice to know I'm not going through this journey alone!
But this way with trimming off the mullet part everything is growing together at the same length! I will continue to put it up and wear headbands everyday haha 🖤good luck with your hair journey 😊
I shaved my head in October so it's been 4 months. I really want my hair down to my lower back. You inspire me to try out these hairstyles once my hair grows out.
Keep going it out! I'm at the 6 months mark not cutting/coloring! Your Videos are helping me from not cutting my hair! ❤ My hair is so soft and it feels so much better then when I color it all different colors all the time.
My 9 months hair growth is coming up this Tuesday and I'm so excited! It's cool that you and I are on the same exact journey. I love watching your hair update videos. It's also cool that our hair is at the same length. I can't wait for your 1 year anniversary of shaving your head, and I'm BEYOND excited for my 1 year anniversary of buzzing mine. I'm not cutting mine once it gets to the one year mark. I'm gonna let it grow. 🖤

I also have the mullet from when i cut my hair and just want it to grow already. I basically put it up in a half up half down do just because its fast and easy or wear pig tails under hats.
Your hair looks great! I'm in month 8 of growing out a buzzcut but I've had maybe 3 trims for my mullet. And occasionally I blow-dry it straight to make it look longer because my hair is super curly. No dye though, not now or ever. I learnt from my past mistakes with bleach!
I started growing out my pixie cut 3 yrs ago and all i did was keep the back short until it was the same length all around then I just let it grow from that point and now it is to the middle of my back . so I say CUT IT !!!
I feel your short black hair looks amazing. I love the natural hair on you. Makes you look so sophisticated and cool. Maybe a nice haircut would go a long way. :) Cheers!
Im at about 9 months of hair growth, it wasn't shaved but it was really short so my hair is a little longer than yours, my hair has never been long and Im 32, I will continue to grow it for 3-5 years, I may just get the ends cut to avoid split ends, If I was you I wouldn't cut your hair to a pixie, just ruff it out and let it grow, it gets better
Your hair looks awesome. It may be in the “resting” stage. I know mine is in the “shedding” stage because of all the hair I see at the bottom of the shower. 😥 Don’t give in an get a trim at the end of the twelve months. Keep using awesome product. Oh, and try foam rollers! Those are supposed to help with volume. You look awesome by the way! Big hugs from New Hampshire! 🤗
I would also say let it grow! So you will be able to do pony tails faster and if it is longer you have beautiful layers. Be patient and I think you will not regret it 🙏🏼 also try to pluck your hair from the ends and not the roots, pick a strand from the top and then tug it out from the root. I hope you understand what I mean 🤦🏼♀️
I’m still torn whether to style it and trim it after hitting the 1 yr mark. I never wear my hair down either due to the mullet but at least i can tie it as a miniature pony tail
Hey Jaaack Jack. I cut my hair bald 5 months ago. And its growing, however, maybe, last month, when ever I wash or wet my hair, some of my hair falls. I always find strands of my hair in my hands. Is this normal? Dont know if you go through this or been through it? Any advice please?
I let my hair grow for 4 years with only a trim, after another 4 years it was down to my waist. I’d say if you can just get a little trim to tidy up and keep growing. You are talented enough to make anything work so keep growing xxx💕

Definitely cut the mullet! You'll have to cut it at some point to even it out anyway, and life is too short to just put up with hair you don't love! So I say, even it up and enjoy your hair and your cut at every stage of the growth! X
My double sideshave is just a bit longer than your hair ^^ gonna let it grow out completly for my wedding ;) you could maybe do a litlle trim in the back ? Like 2 cms are so? So that it isn't to short but that it looks good ^^ i love your hair like this tho *-*

I hated my mullet phase when I was growing out my pixie. Once it was a bit longer, I got it cut off.
